@Keigan43100227 Nonetheless, I understand and respect that you are frustrated. Unions don't have as much of presence today so it feels confusing and a bit foreign when they do go on strike but the legally-protected right to do so is also really important. That's why nursing is often unionized.

@Keigan43100227 Nurses (certain types), postal workers, transit workers (certain provinces), waste disposal workers, etc. In 2015, the Supreme Court ruled that even restrictions on the right to strike for essential service union workers is a violation of the Charter.

The content of red line proposals has always been negotiable - @cupe3903comms has reduced its ask for conversions and the sexual assault survivors fund mult. times. But @yorkuniversity has not made movement in weeks.
