Trekking in the desert like the Israelites. Waylaid by desert bandits. The Benue girl “brutally raped for 3 days” by traffickers.
The 3rd and final installation of @fijnigeria’s migrant investigation.

This is it, we are indeed cooked. Cos tell me why a 70+yrs old, frail looking and a drug lord be ruling a nation that has more vibrant youths and dictating their future for them while the same youths are subjected to abject poverty that restricted them from pursuing their dreams.
I'm now 31. I can't work as a graduate trainee in most banks or Fintech in Nigeria due to age.
Their criteria is always;
> below 27
> NYSC certificate
>2.1
> atleasg 1yr experience
But if I manage to stay alive till 75yrs, when my brain cells will need more sleep then I'll be more than qualified to be the president of Nigeria that will determine the existence of any bank or industry in the country.
A single Policy made by President Tinubu on May 29th 2023 threw over 30million people below poverty line.
He doesn't have a first class.
He didn't go to any university.
He's not young.
But he's qualified to rule Nigeria because the criteria to rule Nigerians is to be dubious and incompetent.
Make it make sense
We designed a system to have the best in Private sectors and the worst in Politics running the Affairs of the entire nation.
Judicious in Micro economics but dastardly stupid in macroeconomic conditions.
When Tinubu’s reign is done, hopefully soon, you will all be thankful to God for his service. BECAUSE of Tinubu, moral ambiguities have been vaporized and the capacity for hypocritical posturing has been forever lost. History SEES where we stand..😊
A leader every well meaning and vision driven African country’s president should emulate.👏
God bless and keep Ibrahim Traore safe and sound to be able to take the people of Burkina Faso to greater heights🙏
Burkina Faso people are lucky to have Ibrahim Traore. See a visionary leader speaking and see how it is hitting hard on the people. A leader with ideology. He is just like Thomas Sankara. Burkina Faso was destined to succeed. Ibrahim Traore is a good leader.
When people talk about politics and elections as if it's Chelsea vs Arsenal, these are the results.
Elections have real life consequences.
In 2001, in Abuja, African heads of state came to the honest conclusion that if they wanted quality healthcare for their people, they would need to put aside 15% of their annual budgets for health sector. After the "Abuja Declaration", health workers we're so excited about the good things to come.
For context, the UK spends 38%, the US-26%, Saudi spends about 20%.
Guess what Nigeria budgeted on healthcare in 2025? A measly 5%. Like our leaders agreed that 15% was needed and decided the lives of Nigerians were not so important and implemented 5% instead.
How will there be bed spaces? There are about 79 federal tertiary hospitals, if you add state hospitals, there are about 120 tertiary hospitals catering for 200 million people.
The health workers we're are complaining about their attitudes are stretched to the limit and are barely standing.
A nurse who is ideally supposed to nurse 4-6 patients, is put in charge of 15-20 patients, all while earning less than N200k. If they attends to each patient the way they ideally should, they cannot possibly cater to all the patients under them. They don't have the allowance of time to be patient or polite as you'd want them to be.
The same nurse switches to a private hospital or goes abroad and becomes the sweetest soul because they aren't under the pressure cooker that is the average Nigerian public hospital.
About 60 thousand doctors are currently serving a population of 200million. If that doesn't make you worried, I don't know what will.
Doctors are grossly overworked and underpaid as well. I did 5 surgeries in a 24hr span during my last call, and I promise you I didn't feel like being polite or empathetic at the end of the 5th surgery because I was feeling like collapsing myself. This is my 5th year of residency and I've been on annual leave once, 3 years ago. Health workers are running on fumes and deserve credit for just showing up instead of running away to better climes.
Meanwhile the over 200 million Nigerians whose lives have literally been endangered by our leaders prefer to assault health care workers after a loss due to systemic failures rather than channel that rage against their wicked leaders.
Your fellow celebrities, who themselves have witnessed firsthand the dysfunction of Nigerian healthcare will still come out to endorse the same people who are stealing the resources that are supposed to cater for the health of all Nigerians. You will probably also endorse APC too, should the opportunity arise.
Finally, Paraphrasing @Wizarab10 , we all get the love (or leaders) we think we deserve.
@Wizarab10 The only thing in this world that has ever made me restless, unsettled or not having a sound sleep is if I know I’m guilty of something(specifically at work) and I know I’m facing the consequences the next day anything else naa Canada abi Scotland I dey go sort am.
Tinubu won his re-election the minute he allowed Donald Trump set up a military base in Nigeria. Peter Obi strikes me as a paid opposition because he’s repeating the same things he did in 2023. His integrity cannot be questioned but he has no plan to prevent the establishment from stealing his votes.

“A driver shared a story about how he picked up a Chinese man and took him to Onitsha Main Market. When they were about to head back to Asaba, they got stuck in traffic because of a roadblock.
The Chinese man told him to drive on the wrong side of the road to avoid the roadblock. The driver warned him that the police officers on that lane might arrest him for driving against traffic, but the Chinese man still told him to go and not worry…”
@Tunex01 Bro it is not fake love but, that’s the reality of everyone at the end of the day. Just do everything in your power not to die young and pray for long life!
Pls I genuinely want to ask, does it take this long for the @inecnigeria to issue voter’s card?
Cos why the fvck have I not gotten an email or text to come pick my voter’s card up after registration and capturing. It’s been 3months already pls I genuinely want to know🙏
By 2027, the Nigerian youth will have wasted 13 years of their lives. A vote for APC again will be a vote for another 4 years of waste, blood, stagnation, misery and dust.
@uc_jave@P_r_iince Pls Nigeria is not a zoo my bro, because even in a zoo all animals get treated and not abandoned to die of illnesses. I’m sorry we are in a shit hole.
