😢 A tourist woman was killed during an elephant bathing session at the popular Dubare safari camp in India

The 33-year-old visitor from Chennai became trapped between two elephants that suddenly started fighting in the river during a tourist attraction event.

According to local authorities, one elephant struck the other with its tusk, causing the animal to lose balance and collapse onto the woman. She suffered severe head injuries and later died in hospital.

Witnesses say panic spread among tourists as mahouts struggled to control the enraged animals. The victim’s husband reportedly managed to save their child during the chaos.

The tragedy has once again sparked debate not only about tourist safety, but also about the ethics of such attractions: animal rights groups have long criticized elephant camps for stressful conditions, harsh training methods, and the exploitation of animals for entertainment.
