Interesting cultural shift happening in snooker. Traditionally a British Empire game dominated by the UK but nearly all the best young players are Chinese. It will be interesting to watch the next ten years.
@laz_versalles Thanks Laz. Yesterday, I just finished reading Cuba: an American History by Ada Ferrer which won a Pulitzer Prize a few years ago. It was a completely unknown topic for me but now I can place your family’s history pretty well.
@PeterFinchGolf@StewartGolf@CaldyGolfClub@TitleistEurope Congratulations! What a difference a year makes. It has been fun watching you learn to handle the nerves of competing. You are playing with house money at final qualifying. Good luck.
@adamyounggolf@Wineraner@sharpe_p I know there is a significant difference between Trackman and GC Quad efficiency numbers. I think it has to do with where on the club swing speed is measured. I don’t think you see 1.5 on GC Quad. Not sure what flush is though.
@adamyounggolf If the player is accurate with those numbers, the swing is very functional and is eking out every yard possible. I would not mess with it. If short game is good, choices would be to increase swing speed through strength/speed training or look to tactics, routine etc.
@adamyounggolf I’m no expert but the spin looks too low and the angle of attack looks too up. Looks like a fight between blocks and hooks that could get the player in trouble. My first instinct would be to try moving ball position back or increasing loft. Will be interested in the answer.
