Major issue found in web2 as well. This is why bootstrapping my new studio/dev and selling product direct to the gamer once playable. Emphasis on *gamer*. Emphasis on *playable*.
Just amazed there is so much hype for a web3 game lately that hasnโt even shown 1 gd second of play footage. Makes the bullshit at past E3s seem downright consumer focused.
Thanks for your comment. Interestingly the creator of NBA Jam told me my game was on the edge of greatness and praised it to me multiple times before I released originally released it on Apple Arcade back in 2020. The voice of NBA Jam is also attached. Many whoโve played it say itโs the NBA Jam for the New World Order, and consider it a far better and deeper game. In reality it has more in common with other notable games as itโs 3v3, like Street, not 2v2 like Jam. And I took more inspiration from fighting games than sports titles. Itโs the best basketball video game in existence today and for the foreseeable future. What do NFTs have to do with this game and how great it is? Absolutely nothing.
Saw the writing on the wall in my junior year in high school. Never even bothered to get my GED. Was told by numerous โteachersโ that I would amount to nothing. Eventually married a โteacherโ who now relies entirely on my labor (alimony) to survive with her masters degree in education and a bachelors degree in fine arts. Life is a play. Itโs all theatrical performances wrapped inside a Russian doll of theatrical performances.
This isnโt happening. There is no rebound coming and this isnโt an actual strategy. Itโs just endless pandering to continually cover policy and management failure ad infinitum. << Thatโs the correct call. Buying this up and selling it to who? Does that make sense to you? Mass exodus of wealthy people after Covid. No rebound. Itโs not happening. Native Manhattanite myself. Tragic. My 0.02. Not a political comment. Just objective reality of this city.
@EAT_InSaNiTy@Infinit3Victory Killer thanks. Iโm working hard on brand new high performance online multiplayer system with ranked matches and iPhone builds. These the two most requested things, realize currently itโs 1P and training only but cooking, my electric range top has all burners on High.
@WT7791 Thatโs cool and thatโs not a AAA game itโs what Iโd call an independent studio with a modest budget. Iโm talking about the tier one stuff that Bethesda and the rest are trotting out. The $400M projects. Minimum.
One of the biggest problems in video games today (and I mean at the AAA/public co publisher driven level), is that everyone is trying to make the last video game. The end all be all of games. This is a flawed approach, it over invests at the expense of just actually being a game anyone GAF about. Which is why so many people slept through the annual web2 game awards, scoffed at the bloated soulless titles that sought to replace reality with vast exploratory space of nothingness. If you design narrower experiences that are 10x of their last benchmark, you will spend fractions, and capture actual gaming hearts and minds. Ask me how I know.
