Hi @IntlCrimCourt please look into these utterances by the president of the Republic of Kenya threatening to kill its youth #FufuaICC
GUYS, please retweet WIDLEY. This must get the attention of The Hague.
How do you respond to or refute an interview in which you request a KES.90,000 monthly pay but HR says you are only worth KES.60,000?
When HR reduces your salary and tells you that you are only worth KES.60,000, you should be able answer fluently, remember fluently, without hesitation.
Say something like, "KES.60,000 is it? Understood. Well, I actually have a very good impression of the interviewer. It's just that I already have an offer of KES.85,000 on hand now, and I came for an interview mainly because I’m genuinely interested in what your company does and wanted to explore this opportunity."
Note
- Give positive affirmation to the company's interest and the impression of the company's staff before politely saying "I've got a KES.85,000 offer"
-This will bring back the negotiation power and balance out the devaluing context of HR saying you're only worth KES.60,000.
And then, depending on how well you did in the interview - whether you feel comfortable with yourself or average ( basic criteria: interview process, fluency of answers, good conversation), you can consider the below two responses
1st situation, "you feel like an average performer".
Then you can go on to say, "... Quite desirable, if your company can offer KES.70,000, then I would be inclined to become colleagues with you and the interviewer before me. Because talking to you, I feel that you are all very nice". ( Be gentle, sincere, relaxed and smiling)
Note
- Praise HR and the interviewer, forcing them to associate you with the company you want to work for because of them. By highlighting their importance and influence, you will be able to win them over and achieve your goal of getting a KES.70,000 offer.
2nd situation: Feeling satisfied with performance.
You can reply to HR saying "I really like you and the interviewer! But I'm sorry, KES.90,000 is my bottom line, if possible, I'd like to ask you and the interviewer to reconsider, or we can talk about this another day. (always be polite and respectful to each other.)
Note
- Why do we have to be so decisive and not talk about it properly again?
- If you make the conversion longer, this will make HR feel that you care about the job, and you will immediately be at the disadvantageous end of the negotiation.
- So, we have to be decisive and tough, and choose to throw the problem back to the HR.
- Remember that the work of the HR is to help the company cut costs by negotiating employees' payment to the minimum amount budgeted
- At the same time, please sit properly and relaxed, and look at HR with a smile, very gently, very politely and courteously.

Resign Meg Whitman. Kenyans don't want you. Run away the way you did like a chased wild dog at the Peak of Gen Z protests. #ResignMegWhitman#RecallMegWhiteman
Your Current Salary is KES.50,000. Why Are You Requesting KES.80,000?
If you’re aiming for fair compensation and don’t want to be underpaid, here’s a way you can respond to the interviewer:
"Hello, interviewer. I’m requesting a salary of KES.80,000 because I’ve considered three key factors.
First, the job requires proficiency in [specific skill/ability], and I have extensive experience and resources in this area from my previous project work at [last company]. I’m confident that my background makes me fully qualified for this role.
Second, the market average for this position is currently between KES.78,000 and KES.90,000, so my request of KES.80,000 aligns well with industry standards. I believe this is reasonable for the skills and experience required.
Third, I want to dedicate myself to this job long-term, and a fair salary is essential to ensure commitment without needing to seek frequent job changes.
This salary is what I expect in the long run after considering all factors, and I hope you can advocate for it on my behalf."
After sharing these points, remember that while it’s possible the employer may have limitations on budget, expressing your value clearly is always worthwhile. Companies that recognize your skills may meet your expectations or offer competitive options. We can’t control everything, but we give ourselves the best chance by asking.

The world is wondering why Kenyans are on with #ResignMegWhitman
Here is a summary of controversies during her tenure in Kenya:
-VISA fraud Scandal of 2024
-Declaring the Fraudulent 2022 elections as the most credible in Kenya's history and later taking back her remarks.
-Meddling into Kenya's internal affairs. So much so that at one point, she was termed as Ruto's chief advisor.
-Remaining silent as the police murdered protesting citizens on the Kenyan streets.
The list is endless.
No US envoy has even been so controversial in this country like Meg Whitman.
