Personally, I hate every minute of being forced to sort my trash. It’s dehumanizing. But you are getting close to the point. The environmentalists didn’t introduce it because it helps the environment (it doesn’t) but because it forces people to think “I am producing so much trash”. They want to create exactly that “consciousness” in the sense of what leftists call “class consciousness”.

“Team Lindsay” showcases a twisted dream that lies at the heart of many millennials: being unbound by the rules that govern the “normal people” while, paradoxically, also not facing any reproach or confrontation for that. This is a caricature of aristocratic thought because while aristocrats (or really any elite) are above normal rules, they get confronted for that a lot, mostly by other members of said elite who have other plans. Male millennials have this dream too, but their breaking of rules is mostly limited to passive aggression, like working a bullshit job and very openly not taking it seriously (for example, showing up late every day with an unironed shirt and telling all coworkers that the job doesn’t matter), because everything more active would expose them to a storm of reproach. Female millennials, on the other hand, have never faced reproach and thus kept escalating until they have finally reached the stage where they are trying to get away with murdering babies.

Setting aside politics the establishment of the modern state of Israel is genuinely impressive.
The most hated ethnic group on the planet not only established their own ethnostate, not only did they do so in the most contested territory on Earth, not only have they maintained it for 80 years, on top of all that they also successfully revived a language that had been dead for 2000 years, the only case of anyone ever doing so. Probably the single most ambitious nationalist project ever and they actually pulled it off, it's nearly on par with reviving Byzantium in HOI4.

🇮🇸Despite an increasingly tense geopolitical context, Iceland still refuses to join the European Union. In reality, the EU is in terminal decline. It solves none of Europe’s problems; instead, it creates new ones: hyper-regulation, excessive taxation, open borders, and deranged environmentalism with no rhyme or reason.
