The @CrawfordPirates have rallied together. In Thursday's state semi final, senior Luis Rodriguez suffered a brain bleed and has since been released from the hospital.
On Monday, students are encouraged to wear blue in his honor.

Tonight marked the end of the road for a spectacular group of 13 seniors as well.
Great football players, and great kids to boot. Truly special group to cover and follow the last few years. @BreckChambers4@TorbertLuke@camronwalker_9

The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens.-Arnold Schwarzenegger
Earlier today, we caught up with @CrawfordPirates Head Football Coach Greg Jacobs, as he talked about why this run to the state semifinals is just as fun as the first one.
"This is what it's all about...This is a culmination of all the hard work and commitment they've made."
I’m not gonna lie, that dagger int at the end felt good after being stuffed by Tolar on the goal line! Let’s finish strong Pirates, brothers for life! 🏆 #LetsRide@CrawfordPirates
@Matt_Stepp817@dctf I heard you picked Crawford for the dub! Smart man, it went down exactly as you predicted! Now tell @Tepper it’s time to leave the snake farm! 😉
Luke Torbert’s heroics punctuated a fantastic Crawford defensive effort as the Pirates downed Tolar, 14-7, in the state quarterfinals on Friday night. https://t.co/l5Kd0x3ItO
If your team is playing football in December, then it’s probably doing something right. In No. 3 Crawford’s case, its defense has been doing a lot of things right throughout https://t.co/ohpfWxpPcI
