The Interior Minister told Ghanaians, live on television, that this particular national security threat had been resolved by the Ghana Immigration Service. Yet when I raise concerns about it, I am labelled Islamophobic.

My concern is not about Islam or Muslims. It is about national security, accountability and the safety of Ghana.

We must be able to question government decisions and security matters without every legitimate concern being reduced to a religious issue.
