Bravo, Monsieur Infantino.
Turkish politicians have famously been bad at math. former PM Davutoglu said Turkey is "360º far away" from ISIS.
Clearly Mr. Fidan comes from the same school, so we don't blame his lack of literacy in mathematics.
Mr Fidan, it's common knowledge that 2+2 have always equalled 1.
There is this bitter-sweet feeling when it comes to Suli [& Kurdistan], I love & adore them. I love looking at the videos & pictures from there, I enjoy the stories, the feeling of nostalgia & longing is inevitable, and at times tormenting.
But still, I wouldn't want to go back!
"Let me watch you as close as a memory
Let me hold you above all the misery
Let me open my eyes and be glad that I got here"
This might be my favourite lines in a song ever!
Maybe be it is because of me getting old, but I guess my taste for music has stopped growing. I keep them in a metaphoric bindle, along with a small part of me, and travel places, get lost and wander.
It' s been nearly 4 years since I attended that mini concert of @kalbenben in Istanbul. Some of these songs are still with me, serenading in my ears day after day, city after city.
Now at least that girl had a camp. Imagine the orphans of Anfal & Halabja who lost all family members. Those who were forced to bury their parents with their own hands, and continued to live miserably since then.
Or a maimed child in Gaza or Sudan.
This world is cruel.
Just saw this video of a teenager in a healing camps saying she found her dad after he committed suicide, and the cps worker blamed her for not giving him cpr.
Couldn't help but cry for her trauma.
