hekate walked slowly around her, eyes appraising.
"magic has many purposes. it is within the fabric of all creation, and it is the base of all destruction. the dark is just as important as the light. there must be a balance one could not appreciate the moon's light ++
That was the Moon Priestess side of her, her dedication to being as pure as the light above. That was why Dโhalumina had bestowed her gifts upon her, because she saw the magic she already had and how she wished to use it. And that is exactly what she has done since.
โI am a
what a precious one...
the goddess was not easily intrigued, but there was something so...pure about this one.
a brow lifted as she smiled warmly, crossing her arms as she surveyed the young girl.
"and pray, tell me, what do you use your magicks for?"
Bethara had plenty of firsthand experience through her Moon Goddess D'halumina of hearing divine terms of endearment, but it never got old. Hekate's "dear one" warmed her soul and spoke to her kindness and benevolence.
"It is but a pittance compared to the gift you have given
the goddess took them from her hand, holding them up in the dim light to admire. she could feel the moonโs power in them.
a smile lifted the corner of her lips in approval.
โyour gift is appreciated, dear one. I always have use for such things.โ
her little cottage ++
The sorceress/priestessโs eyes were closed as she bowed, until she felt the ethereal divine presence around her- surely the Goddess herself, here to accept her offering. Her voice was powerful yet comforting, a figure who commanded respect but still had a soft spot for her
hekate materialized from the shadows of the crossroads, finding the young priestess still bowing before her offering.
โwhat have you left me, child?โ
Those lavender eyes watched carefully as they glanced down just a moment before locking with the others.
โDoesnโt matter.โ
She whispered, getting fed up as she grabbed Hekates face, pulling her back in almost hungrily.
hekate pulled away, just slightly this time, allowing just enough space for breath, lips brushing gently over hers.
"has your husband not been kissing you enough?"
โMhm-โ
She was cut off, just melting into the other as she moved closer. This slow, intently perfect kissโฆ It seems like it was all she craved for a long time.
"oh, right, '/kisses/,' my mistake."
she pulled persephone's face closer, kissing her again, slowly and intently, until her breath began to draw shorter and her body began to tremble, just enough for her to notice.
She was always pretty straight forward but when she pulled away again, she sighed a bit. Not a sigh of just normal, no no, this sigh was of almost whininess.
โI see.โ
hekate was surprised at the queen's forwardness, and how easily she crumbled.
she smirked against her lips, kissing her once more, slow, teasing, but once more she pulled away as suddenly as persephone began to melt into her.
In a moment she was pulled so close, in a way she never had before with the other. Her hands moved up to just gently grab her wrists, yet hesitation or denial was absent. Her lips working in such a submissive manor as Hekate took control.
she moved like shadow, silently, purposefully.
the torchbearer took persephone's face gently, lovingly, in her hands, staring at her for a long moment before leaning in to kiss her, soft and slow, sensual, as one kisses one they've longed for, lips gently pulling at hers ++
