I think one of the reasons why bleach is not bigger than it already is , is because of the fact that it has undertones, philosophy, and narrative winds that are too difficult for the average person to understand

People keep saying Uryu did all the real work in Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 49 "The Blade" and Ichigo just swung his sword once and took the credit, but I think that's the wrong way to look at it.

Ichigo has to land the killing blow because Uryu can't, but Ichigo can't land anything if Uryu doesn't make the opening with that arrow. One couldn't do it without the other, and we always knew that.

So no, Uryu didn't get robbed, it's 51-49.

And like we said on the reaction, Uryu's contribution in this fight looked bigger than anything Sasuke gives Naruto in their fights, because he wasn't just lending a hand, he was the last piece of the puzzle that let Ichigo get the kill.
