The concept of the Sudbury Valley Schools is very interesting, and it seems like it has a lot of positive aspects. I could see some people disagreeing with the idea of this school, but it could be very beneficial and allow the students to be creative and expressive. #diglitclass

As teachers we should try to share this with our students and their parents. Obviously grades are important, but you should want your students to strive to be the best that they can be rather than to just get an A+. #diglitclass

I think it is important to understand that grades/testing are not the only way to actually learn. They also don't mean everything, or express how 'knowledgeable' a student is. #diglitclass

I believe that this goes hand in hand with what teachers should think when they hear the term "unlearning" in their field. It is important for them to acknowledge this in order to adapt as professionals. #diglitclass

I think that Richardson refers to unlearning as; teachers need to 'unlearn' that we are always right. We need to know that the way we were taught may not be the only way to teach. We need to adapt to our students needs, and be the best teachers for them. #diglitclass
