vardaman’s chapters prove how secrets between family are harmful to one’s psyche. he continues to tell himself anout the thing he saw that dewey told him not to tell anyone about. #ch49 #AILD

dewey always seems to be comforting in some way just as she was with the fan earlier. #ch48 #AILD

this line is extremely disturbing coming from vardaman. vardaman confuses jewel’s horse with addie meaning that jewel no longer has a mother. could vardaman be getting better or slowly getting worse? #ch47 #AILD

the “sawdust is running out” of cash’s leg now that it is broken. this is likely because his entire character’s purpose was to build and create, but his perfect coffin was unfit. #ch46 #AILD
