@NYCMayor You're an insensitive, idiotic baffoon. Just recognize that today marks the anniversary of the Oct 7 Hamas terror attack in Israel. That's it. No need to blah blah blah about Gaza. Remember, it's Hamas that started the fight and brought destruction to their people.
@RepNancyMace That's 2 counts of murder right there for this loser. As a mother you have one job: care for your children. If you have to choose a job or caring for them, care for them - there are government and non-profit programs that can help. If you can't care for them, seek help
@SleeperAstros 50% GM / Roster, 40% Manager, 10% Dumb Luck / Injuries. With that said, the manager - like a Commander in the military is responsible for all that happens on their watch. The new GM should pick the next manager, and Joe should be considered...but it may be a tough sell to fans.
@MLB it's complete BS that the ALDS & ALCS are on TBS/TNT/HBO Max. Not all streaming services carry these networks! The postseason needs to be on major networks like ESPN, Fox, NBC, etc... You're losing fans at the most important - and fun - time of the year for baseball! βΉοΈβΎοΈ
@DefenceGeek@MATA_osint@havoc_aviation@ArmchairAdml@vcdgf555 I think the UK needs to reasses their counter-terror policies - especially how they investigate & DETAIN suspected foreign-based & foreign-influenced terrorists. Lack of firm action on the UK's part & ongoing threat streams likely led to the U.S. departure from RAF Fairford.
@denverpost That's great, but today is October 4...not September 29. Did your on-duty Editor approve this post, or are you letting AI do the work for you???
@34Legends@Joseph_Duarte I think UH has moved past that "commuter school" label. My child attended UH, lived on campus 4 years in the Athletic dorms. On Saturdays Cullen was often busy with a decent attempt at tailgating. Not "SEC level" pre-gaming, but a fun Saturday...kids don't want to have fun now?
@DanClarkSports The fact that a few low-level staff executed a poor idea which tainted the Astros' '17 World Series win, that it still lives in the heads of so many pathetic fans is hilarious! How about focus on the Dodgers' runaway spending or the Yankees & Mets failures to win big recently? βΎοΈ
@axrxrxr100@astros No, not in today's professional sports environment. The "what have you done for me lately" feature will limit managers & coaches to 2-3 years tops if not winning big time. Joe has tons of experience, but for 2027 the Astros need an energized, proven, and whip smart leader.
@ragazzoreport They were also on NBCSN, not just Peacock. I'm upset with the times if those two series. One late afternoon and one late at night; both terrible times.
@Chandler_Rome@TheAthletic Good - he should apologize. He doesn't speak for the Astros. He's still
pretty new around these parts...he clearly didn't understand the buy-in Astros fans have for the team, the baseball knowledge of the fan base, and the level of excellence we expect from the organization.
@MarkBerman_ They didn't show up for Game 1, and tonight they showed fight but c'mon you have to bring in runs when the bases are loaded! White Sox seized on that failure, popped a 3-run dinger, & Astros looked like they gave up right then. I expect there will be multiple pink slips tomorrow.
@Ken_Rosenthal Ken that's not the story. Astros fans are fully invested in this topsy turvy season. The real story is ongoing pitching woes, a manager who seemed very lost at times this year, too many new players in starting roles, and a fired GM who screwed over the team by not making deals.
