We have until Oct. 17 to stop Texas from making the irreversible mistake of executing #RobertRoberson, an innocent person. Join me and @innocence in fighting for Robert by adding your name to his petition: https://t.co/9NhEvuua7T
For this #Blocktober I'll take the time to highlight some course work I did earlier this year.
The first task was to create the #blockout of 2 streets from any Asian city. Having visited #okinawa months prior, I decided to create a district inspired by the capital, Naha 1/6🧵
By now, the State will have asked #MarcellusWilliams to fill out the paperwork about who he wants to witness his execution, if anyone, and if he has a spiritual advisor he’d like to be present.
We can't let this happen. Read more about what Marcellus is facing and how to help him: https://t.co/lyAwPQqw8O

#MarcellusWilliams is only THREE days away from being executed for a crime he didn’t commit. We need you to use your platform to stop this cruel, irreversible mistake before it’s too late.
Though the governor's office is closed today, you can tweet and e-mail Gov. Parson now (https://t.co/sAwrXjul6a) and urge him to stop the execution. You can also use this social media toolkit to create your own post or video about Marcellus: https://t.co/MVst5funYF
The Sony Walkman came out 45 years ago today. It would sell 200m units and ushered in age of personal consumer electronics (cellphone, iPod, iPhone).
An interesting detail is that Akio Morita — Sony’s legendary boss at the time — thought it would be too “anti-social” and instructed his team to build the first Walkman with two headphone jacks.
He was right about the anti-social aspect (people plugged in by themselves) but consumers clearly preferred the solo version.
