Summer break is here for a lot of kids ,we understand that you may be looking for ways for your child to engage in meaningful activities and give back to their community. We are pleased to offer our 50 Yard Challenge as an excellent opportunity for your child to do just that.

The challenge begins with a simple sign-up process, after which your child will receive a white shirt and start mowing 50 free lawns for the elderly, disabled, single parents, and veterans in their city. Additionally, the challenge includes activities such as raking leaves, snow shoveling, and picking up trash.

As your child progresses and mows every 10 lawns, they earn a new shirt. The orange shirt is earned after 10 lawns, green shirt after 20 lawns, blue shirt after 30 lawns, red shirt after 40 lawns, and a black shirt after mowing 50 lawns. Upon completion of the challenge by mowing 50 lawns, they earn a brand new lawn mower, weed eater, and blower !

We encourage you to consider this opportunity for your child to make a positive impact in their community while also developing valuable skills .

@veranmiller Yes, opened an account for my son when he was 17 and heading to college. Low credit limit. Helped him to learn about credit while building a credit profile which will be helpful when he wants to get car loan, etc.

@danielmloftus Daniel, you may want to explore GEDMATCH. I downloaded my Ancestry DNA file and joined GedMatch, found their Ancestry Projects for the Counties in Ireland (eg County Kerry) particularly helpful and each has a corresponding Facebook Group.

@alliethinks Agreed, same with Petty Cases. They provide a wealth of insight not simply location. Wish Ancestry would change that as well, allow us to add descriptions. @CristaCowan

@danielmloftus Things that are different from Zoom: physical movements can be more expressive, looking at audience means changing eye focus/body positioning, easier to do Q&A during talk, microphone- will it be fixed on podium or can you walk around, height of podium.

This! Abolish debt ceiling, fix the budget process. No company separates the two activities.

[Team Katie @TeamKatiePorter]

The debt ceiling doesn’t reduce spending or increase revenue. In fact, Congress has raised or changed the debt ceiling *78 times* since 1960—with no meaningful change to our budget decisions.

It serves no purpose other than driving brinkmanship. Congress should abolish it.
