Introducing your 2025-2026 Rochester Americans captain… ZACH METSA!!!
Zach Metsa first joined the Rochester Americans during the team's 2023 Calder Cup Playoff run and has since appeared in 149 games with the red, white, and blue across both regular season and playoff contests. In that timeframe, the Delafield, Wisconsin native has amassed 15 goals and 77 points. His sophomore season in Rochester saw the former Quinnipiac Captain posted 46 points (7+39), leading all Amerks defensemen in point production while ranking ninth across all AHL blueliners and fourth in assists. Metsa, 26, becomes the 65th captain in Rochester Americans history.
