@GravediggnJoker@jstewartIndy Actually merely being intoxicated in public is not a crime in Indiana. You have to also be creating a nuisance or danger to someone in order to be charged.
@jstewartIndy I donโt believe it is illegal in Indiana to openly consume alcohol on a public sidewalk. While many establishments have rules against it, I donโt believe it is against the law to carry an open beverage out of a licensed premise.
@Jim_Merritt@RobMKendall@Jim_Merritt What kind of ego does a guy have to have to think that his $2 bet on an app can affect the outcome of a golf tournament?
@jstewartIndy Thereโs been a data center at the old Eastgate Mall site for many years, and Iโd guess most of its neighbors have no idea what it is. I donโt understand the fear-mongering.
@Awnye5 The sales/use tax on gasoline fluctuates monthly, just as a 7% sales tax on any commodity would. In the summer of 2022 it was just over 29 cents per gallon compared with the 17.2 cents this month. It does not perpetually increase, but the decreases never seem to be reported.
@RobMKendall So do you think it would be better if the cost of local services such as police and fire protection just be distributed equally among all propetyy owners, or are you just making a straw man argument?
@Indy_reporter_@IPSSchools Before Republicans gained a majority in the House in 2010, IPS went from its heyday at 120,000 students to around 40,000, yet received increased state funding every year.
