There was this woman in our area who stopped going to church.
She said and i quote “Abeg, God dey everywhere. I can pray from my house.”

And truly, she was right. God is everywhere.
But one Sunday, her pastor decided to visit after service to know why she has not been coming to church. He didn’t come with any long talk he just sat with her outside, where she was roasting corn on a sunday morning 😆

After a while, the pastor used a stick to pull one burning charcoal out of the fire and left it on its own. At first, it was still red and hot, but after small time, it went black and cold.

Then the pastor smiled and said,
“That’s how it is when you stay away from other believers. Your fire go slowly die.”

That day, she understood.

Let me tell you, sometimes, it’s not that you don’t love God, your spirit just gets weak because you’ve been alone too long.
When you go to church, it’s not just about hearing a sermon. It’s about catching fire again, through songs, through testimonies, through people who remind you that you’re not alone.

So today, wear that outfit, carry your Bible, and go to church.
Because when believers gather, strength multiplies. 🔥

I expected a more balanced game tonight. But unfortunately, Argentina came to quarrel on the pitch than play football. They spent more time on intrigues, pushing, kicking, yelling, dramatizing and as result ceded ground to Spain. They were more melodramatic and theatrical than I’ve known them to be. And while they were busy with mischief, Spain was controlling the game. Take nothing away from Spain though, SOLID team. My view of them remains the same. Technically sound. Tactically astute. They were disciplined. Compact in defense, fluid and assertive in midfield, even though not as clinical in the final third, partly due to Martinez’s exceptional brilliance as the shot stopper, they however did reduce Argentina to a less than average team tonight. As I predicted and was expected, Argentina’s red card came. And rightly so. But they weathered the storm till the second half of extra time. Spain’s goal became the sting in their tail, forcing them to come to do what they should have done all along. But by this time, it was all over ! To my football hero, Messi - you lost but also, not really lost. As the little baby you once carried, Yamal, has carried the cup. And to the amalekites, Jebusites, Ammorites, hivittes, phillistines 😂😂and etc that wished Messi’s downfall, I forgive you all😂. Bless you guys. It was a great World Cup.
