@nsandihelp A relative recently died and you have written to say that her income bonds can be transferred to the name of the beneficiary. There are 4 beneficiaries, can you transfer 1/4 of the income bonds to each of the beneficiaries, and how do I arrange this?

You could have been fined before, if you made an untrue declaration. Now you can be fined just for not having applied for a certificate to prove that you have a condition.

Before that you only had to declare that you had an exempt condition.

@parthaskar @DAFNEUK @NHSDiabetesProg Is there data on how many areas provide some sort of education programme for type 1s and what percentage of T1s have been offered a course. It is important for newly diagnosed but also for people who have had type 1 for longer, and have never been offered education

@cahmn @scottishphil83 @parthaskar Yes, but the HCPs should be saying "we need this information from Libre, so we can see what patients' blood glucose is doing". What they do with that information is what they should be gathering evidence on. When Ultrasound was invented, I doubt HCPs said "this won't be useful"

@cahmn @scottishphil83 @parthaskar If they were interested, wouldn't they be prescribing Libre to all T1s? And the RMOC wouldn't have created illogical criteria. I don't understand why it has to be proved that having more information is a good thing. Or have I misunderstood your reply?

@cahmn @scottishphil83 @parthaskar It still amazes me that the HCP's looking after Type 1 diabetics aren't demanding that all their patients have Libre, so that they can see the information it provides and better understand their patients' glucose variations. Aren't they interested?

@JustinOnWeb You think a waiting list is wrong for those who meet the criteria? What about those with type 1 who don't meet the criteria - when will they get access to libre?

@parthaskar @WilmotEmma @KarenFAddington @NHSDiabetesProg @JDRFUK @ChrisAskewCE @DiabetesUK @JustinOnWeb @JamieFonzarelli @Anniecoops @cahmn I think it would be more accurate to say "provided" by the NHS, the term "funded" is mis-leading - the NHS is not a charity that has a pot of money to distribute - it provides healthcare at the point of need, so patients shouldn't have to bid (or beg) for money to stay healthy.
