My father has been under arrest for 845 days. For the past six weeks, he has been kept in solitary confinement in a death cell with zero transparency. His sisters have been denied every visit, even with clear court orders allowing access. There have been no phone calls, no meetings and no proof of life. Me and my brother have had no contact with our father.

This absolute blackout is not a security protocol. It is a deliberate attempt to hide his condition and prevent our family from knowing whether he is safe.

Let it be clear: the Pakistani government and its handlers will be held fully accountable legally, morally and internationally for my father’s safety and for every consequence of this inhumane isolation.

I call on the international community, global human rights organisations and every democratic voice to intervene urgently. “My message for Asim Munir is that, as believers in ‘La ilaha illallah, Muhammadur Rasulullah (There is no God but Allah and Mohammad [Peace Be Upon Him] is His messenger)’ we have pledged that, as long as we are alive, we will not bow down before the cruelty of Yazid or the tyranny of the Pharaoh, because bowing down to any being other than Allah is ‘shirk’ (associating partners with God). The psychological torture being inflicted on me and Bushra Begum in prison is being carried out by Asim Munir, and the sole purpose is to make us break down and submit.

The army did not choose General Yahya Khan to govern the country; rather, he used the army to establish a dictatorship, and unleashed a reign of oppression and tyranny upon the nation. In his greed to rule for ten years, he split our country apart. Today, Asim Munir is also doing the same: using the army to create an atmosphere of lawlessness and fascism in our country.

Asim Munir has left no stone unturned for the extension of his illegitimate rule for ten years. First, he strangled democracy. By staging the false flag of May 9th (2023) he attempted to crush the country’s largest political party. Then, on February 8th (2024), when people voted in large numbers for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to give the party a clean sweep, that election was shamelessly stolen. The people’s mandate was taken and handed to convicted criminals. After that, the judiciary was incapacitated and, through the 26th Amendment, judges were subjugated. The judiciary has been turned into nothing but a subordinate department of the government.

Thirdly, restrictions were placed on the freedom of the media. The notion of a free press in Pakistan has been eradicated. The tenuous hold of democracy that existed in Pakistan — consisting, to some degree, of an independent judiciary and a free media — has been terminated by Asim Munir. Democracy in the country is suspended, human rights violations are at their peak, the judiciary is subservient, and the media is intimidated.

Ever since Asim Munir took over as Army Chief, he has been attempting to sour relations with Afghanistan. Upon taking office, he first issued threats to Afghanistan, then expelled Afghan nationals who had lived here for three generations, followed by drone strikes there, making every effort to provoke them into fighting Pakistan, creating a climate of terrorism. He is doing this to portray himself as a “mujahid” (warrior) to lobbies in the West that oppose the current Afghan government, in order to convince them that he is the one who can fight the war against terrorism.

Because of this oppression, Pakistan’s economy is experiencing historically slow growth. Foreign investment is virtually zero. Never in Pakistan’s history has investment been as low as it is at this time. In three years the national debt has doubled. Every Pakistani is now trapped in a quagmire of debt. Until a government of the people is established, it will not be possible to solve the country's economic challenges.

The extent of moral decay in our country is unprecedented. Atrocities have been inflicted upon people here that are not even seen in wartime. Women have been dragged in the streets, children have been seized and harassed, and the sanctity of the elderly has been violated. Never before have any politician's non-political female relatives been treated as badly as my wife and other family members have been. When a state is handed over to thieves and plunderers, tales of whose corruption every child knows, morality is bound to be destroyed like this.”

جنرل یحیٰی خان کو فوج نے ملک چلانے کے لیے منتخب نہیں کیا تھا بلکہ اس نے فوج کا کندھا استعمال کر کے ڈکٹیٹر شپ کی اور ملک میں ظلم و جبر کا بازار گرم کیا۔ اپنے دس سالہ اقتدار کی لالچ میں اس نے ملک دو لخت کر دیا۔ آج عاصم منیر بھی اسی طرز پر فوج کا کندھا استعمال کر کے ملک میں لاقانونیت اور فسطائیت کا ماحول بنائے ہوئے ہے۔

عاصم منیر نے اپنے دس سالہ ناجائز اقتدار کے لیے کیا کچھ نہیں کیا۔ سب سے پہلے جمہوریت کا گلا دبوچا، نو مئی کا فالس فلیگ کر کے ملک کی سب سے بڑی سیاسی جماع�� کو کچلا گیا، پھر 8 فروری کو انتخابات میں عوام نے جب تحریک انصاف کو بڑی تعداد میں ووٹ ڈالے اور تحریک انصاف نے کلین سویپ کیا تو اس مینڈی�� کو بے شرمی سے چرا لیا گیا۔ عوام کا مینڈیٹ چرا کر سزا یافتہ لوگوں کو اقتدار دے دیا گیا۔ اس کے بعد عدلیہ کو مفلوج کیا گیا اور چھبیسویں ترمیم کے ذریعے ججز کے ہاتھ پاؤں باندھ دئیے گئے۔ عدلیہ کو سرکاری ادارے میں تبدیل کر دیا گیا ہے۔

تیسرے نمبر پر میڈیا کی آزادی پر قدغن لگا دی گئی ہے، آزاد میڈیا کا تصور پاکستان سے بالکل ختم ہو چکا ہے۔ نہایت مشکل سے پاکستان میں جیسی تیسی جمہوریت کے تسلسل سے یہ دو چیزیں، کسی حد تک خود مختار عدلیہ اور آزاد میڈیا تھا، مگر عاصم منیر کی وجہ سے ان دونوں کا خاتمہ ہو چکا ہے۔ ملک میں اس وقت جمہوریت معطل ہے، انسانی حقوق کی پامالی عروج پر ہے، عدلیہ ��لام اور میڈیا خوفزدہ ہے۔

عاصم منیر جب سے چیف بنا ہے افغانستان کے ساتھ حالات خراب کرنے کی کوشش میں ہے۔ چیف بنتے ہی پہلے افغانستان کو دھمکیاں لگائیں، پھر تین نسلوں سے مقیم افغانیوں کو ملک سے دھکے دے کر باہر نکالا پھر وہاں ڈرون حملے کیے اور پوری کوشش کی کہ ان کو اکسا کر پاکستان سے جنگ کروائی جائے اور پاکستان میں دہشتگردی کا ماحول بنایا جا سکے تاکہ مغرب میں موجودہ افغان حکومت کی مخالف لابیز کو "مجاہد" بن کر دکھا سکے کہ میں ہی ہوں جو دہشتگردی کے خلاف جنگ لڑ سکتا ہوں۔

جبر کے اسی نظام کے باعث پاکستان میں اس وقت معیشت بھی تاریخی سست روی کا شکار ہے۔ بیرونی سرمایہ کاری بالکل صفر ہے۔ پاکستان کی تاریخ میں کبھی اتنی کم سرمایہ کاری نہیں آئی جتنی اس دور میں ہوئی۔ تین سال میں ملک پر قرضہ دگنا ہو چکا ہے۔ ہر پاکستانی اس وقت قرضے کی دلدل میں دھنسا ہوا ہے۔ جب تک ملک میں عوامی حکومت قائم نہیں ہو گی معاشی مسائل کا حل ممکن نہیں ہے۔

ملک میں اخلاقیات کا جو جنازہ اٹھا ہوا ہے اس کی بھی مثال تاریخ میں نہیں ملتی۔ جو کام جنگوں میں بھی نہیں ہوتے وہ یہاں عوام کے ساتھ کیے گئے ہیں۔ عورتوں کو سڑکوں پر گھسیٹا گیا ہے�� بچوں کو اٹھا کر ہراساں کیا گیا، بزرگوں کا تقدس پامال کیا گیا ہے۔ کبھی کسی سیاستدان کے گھر کی غیر سیاسی خواتین کے ساتھ ایسا نہیں کیا گیا جو میری اہلیہ اور دیگر گھر والوں کے ساتھ کیا گیا ہے۔ جب ملک کا اقتدار ان چور لٹیروں کے ہاتھوں میں دے دیا جائے گا جن کی کرپشن کی داستانوں سے بچہ بچہ واقف ہے تو اخلاقیات ایسے ہی تباہ ہوں گی”

ملک میں ہائبرڈ سسٹم نہیں عاصم منیر کی ڈکٹیٹرشپ قائم ہے، اسی لیے ٹرمپ نے شہباز شریف کی بجائے عاصم منیر کو بلایا۔

فسطائیت اور جبر میں تمام حدود پار کرتے ہوئے میرے خاندان کے غیر سیاسی لوگوں کو مسلسل نشانہ بنایا جا رہا ہے۔ میرے دو بھانجوں شاریز خان اور شیر شاہ کو بھی اغواء کر لیا گیا حالانکہ ان کا سیاست سے کوئی تعلق نہیں۔ میرا بھانجا شاریز خان جو ایک بہترین ایتھلیٹ ہے اسے بھی اٹھا لیا گیا۔ مجھے مکمل ��ور پر قید تنہائی میں رکھا گیا ہے۔ تین ماہ میں میری محض تین ملاقاتیں کروائی گئی ہیں، میرے وکلأ اور اہل خانہ تک سے ملاقات کئی کئی ماہ روک دی جاتی ہے۔ یہ سب کچھ مجھ پر دباؤ ڈالنے کے لیے کیا جا رہا ہے۔

میرے ساتھ آٹھ ماہ سے بشرٰی بیگم کو بھی قید تنہائی میں رکھا گیا ہے۔ ایسا سلوک عورتوں کے ساتھ پاکستان کی تاریخ میں کبھی نہیں کیا گیا۔ یحیٰی خان نے بھی ایسا نہیں کیا-

فیصل واوڈا جو اسٹیبلشمنٹ کا ترجمان ہے اس نے بشرٰی بیگم کے حوالے سے بیانات دئیے کہ وہ مجھ سے علیحدگی اختیار کر لیں گی۔ بشرٰی بیگم پر دباؤ ڈالا گیا کہ مجھ سے علیحدگی اختیار کر لیں مگر وہ میرے ساتھ کھڑی رہیں- اس سے پہلے جب عاصم منیر ک�� DG ISI کے عہدے سے ہٹایا تو اس نے زلفی بخاری کے ذریعے بشرٰی بیگم سے رابطے کی کوشش کی، لیکن انہوں نے انکار کر دیا، اسی لیے آج ان کے ساتھ یہ بدترین سلوک کیا جا رہا ہے۔ انہیں قید تنہائی میں رکھا گیا ہے۔ ان کو خراب حالات میں رکھے جانے پر کرنٹ لگ چکا ہے اور زخم آ چکے ہیں۔ ان کو استعمال کے لیے گندا پانی دیا جاتا ہے۔ ان پر ہر طرح کا ظلم جاری ہے۔

یہ سب کچھ عاصم منیر کروا رہا ہے- اس میں نہ کوئی اخلاقیات ہیں اور نہ اسلام کی سمجھ ہے- عاصم منیر کے لیے میرا پیغام ہے کہ مجھ پر دباؤ بڑھانے کے لیے چاہے میرے خاندان میں سے جس مرضی کو قید میں ڈال دو میں نہ جھکوں گا نہ اس ظلم کو قبول کروں گا۔ میں اپنی حقیقی آزادی کی جدوجہد ہر حال میں جاری رکھوں گا۔

عاصم منیر پاکستان کے ساتھ وہ کر رہا ہے جو محسن نقوی نے کرکٹ کے ساتھ کیا ہے۔

عدلیہ تباہ، میڈیا خاموش اور پولیس سے ایسے کام کروائے جا رہے ہیں جس سے وہ کریمینالائز ہو چکی ہے۔ ایسا تو یحیٰی خان کے دور میں بھی نہیں ہوا۔ پولیس کو تحریک انصاف کے لوگوں کے خلاف استعمال کیا جا رہا ہے جس کی وجہ سے ملک میں جرائم کی شرح بڑھ گئی ہے، ملک میں بے روزگاری عروج پر ہے، ایس آئی ایف سی سے معشیت ٹھیک نہیں ہوتی بلکہ عوام کے اعتماد اور قانون کی حکمرانی سے ٹھیک ہوتی ہے۔

ان چوروں کو ہم پر مسلط کر دیا گیا ہے جن کی
کرپشن اور منی لانڈرنگ کے ثبوت مجھے خود ISI دیتی رہی ہے۔ جو شخص بھی تحریک انصاف چھوڑ دیتا ہے اس کے سارے کیس معاف کر دئیے جاتے ہیں۔

جب بھی ڈکٹیٹرشپ آتی ہے ججز کو ساتھ ملا کر ہی نظام پر قابض ہوتی ہے۔ اس وقت بے ضمیر ججز کی وجہ سے پاکستان میں قانون کی حکمرانی مکمل ختم ہو چکی ہے۔ 26ویں آئینی ترمیم کے بعد عدلیہ بالکل ہی غلام بن ��کی ہے۔ بے ضمیر ججز انسانی حقوق کی پامالی کے خلاف ایکشن نہیں لے رہے۔اگر ہمارے ججز ضمیر کے ساتھ کام کرتے، پاکستان کے لوگوں کو انصاف دیتے، ان کو خوف ہوتا کہ یوم محشر اللہ کو حساب دینا ہے تو یہ جو ظلم جو ہو رہا ہے یہ کبھی نہ ہوتا۔ اس ظلم و نا انصافی میں یہ بےضمیر جج برابر کے مجرم ہیں۔

“Instead of going through the formality of introducing a 27th constitutional amendment through a sham parliament, it would be better to openly declare a monarchy, because what exists today is outright dictatorship, forcibly imposed on the country.

The very foundation of Pakistan was laid on La Ilaha Illallah (There is no god except Allah), a declaration that liberates mankind from all forms of slavery. Our country was freed from British rule through immense sacrifices to establish a nation where every citizen would enjoy personal liberties. But the situation is completely the opposite. A mafia seeks to keep the entire nation enslaved. I am willing to endure solitary confinement in a dark prison cell, but I will never accept slavery. And that is my message to everyone: it is better to choose imprisonment than to live in such bondage. What is the value of freedom if, outside these walls, we are not truly free? Iqbal’s Shaheen (eagle) soars high, it does not live in servitude.

I give this call to the entire nation, especially to the workers and supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf: Launch a movement after Ashura against the tyrannical system that has gripped this country. For me, death would be better than accepting a system built on slavery.

Every attempt is being made to suppress my voice so that my message does not reach the people and no one dares to stand up against oppression. But I will resist tyranny until my very last breath. I have complete faith in my Creator that this shadow of injustice will soon be lifted from Pakistan.

There are four pillars integral to any democracy: the right to vote, the rule of law, moral integrity, and a free press. The 26th Constitutional Amendment has effectively dismantled all four:

1. The Right to Vote: A dictator has no need for public mandate; he governs through force. The illegitimate assemblies formed via Forms-47, and the subsequent distribution of reserved seats, have only reinforced the perception among the people that their votes hold no value.

2. The Rule of Law: The judiciary has been reduced to a subordinate department of the government. Courts are packed with handpicked judges, while independent judges have been silenced. This is a hallmark of martial law, not democracy.

3. Moral Fabric of Society: This amendment has buried all ethical values. Individuals who are not true representatives of the people now occupy seats in the assemblies. Horse-trading of assembly members continues with impunity, and even the judiciary operates under the thumb of this mafia.

4. Free Media: Under a dictatorship, the media is bound in chains. Freedom of expression has been entirely curbed. Independent journalists are being targeted, while the rest have been bought off.

Peaceful protest is a fundamental democratic and constitutional right. Yet, 26 of our��MPAs were suspended for staging a protest in the Punjab Assembly. I commend Ahmad Bhachar and all PTI MPAs who had the courage to challenge these pharaohs. Until our 26 members are reinstated, our elected representatives should hold their own assembly outside. The Form-47-based assemblies do not represent the people, in any case.”

مذاکرات کا وقت اب گزر چکا ہے، اب صرف قوم کے احتجاج کا وقت ہے۔

پچھلے کچھ روز سے جیل میں مجھ پر سختیاں مزید بڑھا دی گئی ہیں۔ میری اہلیہ بشرٰی بیگم پر بھی سختی کا دائرہ کار بڑھا دیا گیا ہے۔ ان کے سیل میں جو ٹی وی موجود تھا وہ بھی بند کروا دیا گیا ہے۔ میرے اور میری اہلیہ کے تمام انسانی اور قیدیوں کو دئیے جانے والے حقوق معطل ہیں- جس کا حساب ہونا چاہیئے۔

مجھے معلوم ہے کہ ایک کرنل اور جیل سپرنٹنڈنٹ انجم، یہ سب کچھ عاصم منیر کے کہنے پر کروا رہے ہیں۔

اپنی پارٹی کو واضح ہدایت کرتا ہوں کہ اگر مجھے جیل میں کچھ ہوا تو اس کا حساب عاصم منیر سے لیا جائے۔

بشری بیگم پر ظلم اس لیے کیا جا رہا ہے کیونکہ میرے دور میں جب عاصم منیر کو عہدے سے ہٹایا گیا تو انہوں نے زلفی بخاری کے ذریعے بشرٰی بیگم کو ملاقات کا پیغام ب��یجا تھا، جسے بشریٰ بیگم نے ٹھکرا دیا تھا۔ اسی لیے عاصم منیر نے ان پر سختیاں رکھی ہوئی ہیں۔ شروع دن سے ہی ان کی کوشش ہے کہ بشری بیگم پر سختی کر کے مجھے توڑا جا سکے۔

جس جیل میں مجھے رکھا ہوا ہے وہاں سینکڑوں پاکستانیوں کے قاتل اور دہشتگرد بھی مجھ سے بہتر حالت میں رہ رہے ہیں- ایک فوجی رضوان کو شان و شوکت سے رکھا ہوا ہے لیکن مجھ پر ہر طرح کا ظلم جاری ہے۔ یہ جو بھی کر لیں اس ظلم کے آگے نہ میں پہلے جھکا تھا نہ ہی اب جھکوں گا۔

پنجاب میں پ��ھلے دو سال سے مریم نواز اور محسن نقوی کے زیر سایہ جبر و فسطائیت کا جو ماحول ہے اس نے جمہوریت اور سیاسی سرگرمیوں کا خاتمہ کر رکھا ہے۔ تمام ممبران اسمبلی کا قافلے کی صورت میں پنجاب آ کر سیاسی اجتماع کرنا خوش آئیند ہے-

اس وقت مجھ سمیت کئی افراد سخت ترین جیلیں کاٹ رہے ہیں اس لیے پارٹی کا ہر شخص اپنے ذاتی اختلافات کو مکمل طور پر نظر انداز کرے، میڈیا کے سامنے اپنے ذاتی اور اندرونی معاملات کو زیر گفتگو لانا کسی طور قابل قبول نہیں ہے۔ میری سختی سے ہدایات ہیں کہ پارٹی میں بڑے سے بڑا عہدیدار یا چھوٹے سے چھوٹا رکن یا ذمہ دار سوشل میڈیا، الیکٹرانک میڈیا، پرنٹ میڈیا یا کسی بھ�� اور فورم پر پارٹی کے اندرونی معاملات یا اختلافات کا اظہار مت کرے۔ اپنی ساری توجہ صرف اور صرف احتجاجی تحریک پر رکھیں تاکہ ملک میں انسانی حقوق کی بحالی ممکن ہو سکے۔ اگر کسی ذمہ دار نے اس احتجاجی تحریک میں حصہ نہ لیا پھر اس کا فیصلہ میں جیل سے خود کروں گا۔

تمام پارٹی ممبران اور عہدیداران کو ہدایت کرتا ہوں میرے ٹوئیٹر پیغامات کو خود ��یٹویٹ بھی کریں اور زیادہ سے زیادہ افراد تک میرے یہ پیغامات پہنچائیں-

سینیٹ کی ٹکٹوں کے حوالے سے پارٹی باہمی مشاورت سے فیصلہ کرے۔”

“جب ایک قوم اپنے حق کے لیے خود کھڑی ہو جاتی ہے پھر اس کو کوئی طاقت جھکا نہیں سکتی۔ میں جیل میں بھی آزاد ہوں مگر میری قوم باہر ایک ایسی قید میں ہے جہاں نہ آزاد عدلیہ ہے نہ آزاد جمہوریت نہ ہی آزاد میڈیا۔ تمام پاکستانیوں کو اب اپنی حقیقی آزادی کے لیے باہر نکلنا ہو گا!!

دو سال سے میں صرف پاکستانی قوم کی خاطر جیل میں قید ہوں تا کہ آپ کو کوئی غلام نہ بنا سکے۔ اب وقت آ چکا ہے کہ آپ خود اپنی آزادی کے لیے کھڑے ہوں اور اس جابر نظام کو شکست دیں۔

ملک کی خاطر میں نے بارہا مذاکرات کی ب��ت کی مگر اب مذاکرات کا وقت گزر چکا ہے ۔ چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم کے بعد اس ملک میں آئین و قانون اور انصاف کو دفن کر دیا گیا ہے۔ ہمیں عدالتوں سے انصاف کی جو امید تھی وہ مکمل طور پر ختم ہو چکی ہے، اس لیے اب پاکستانی قوم کو ملک گیر احتجاجی تحریک کے علاوہ کوئی اور طریقہ لا قانونیت کی اس دلدل سے باہر نہیں نکال سکتا۔

ملک گیر تحریک کا مکمل لائحہ عمل اسی ہفتے پیش کیا جائے گا- پانچ اگست کو میری نا حق قید کو پورے 2 برس مکمل ہو جائیں گے۔ اسی روز ہماری ملک گیر احتجاجی تحریک کا نقطہ عروج ہوگا۔

اب کسی سے کسی بھی قسم کے مذاکرات نہیں ہوں گے! صرف اور صرف سڑکوں پر احتجاج ہو گا تاکہ قوم زبردستی کے مسلط کردہ کٹھ پتلی حکمرانوں سے نجات حاصل کرے۔

دوٹوک پیغام دے رہا ہوں کہ تحریک انصاف کا جو عہدہ دار اس تحریک کا وزن نہیں اٹھا سکتا وہ ابھی سے الگ ہو جائے۔ جن لوگوں نے اُن کے آگے گھٹنے ٹیکے ہوئے ہیں وہ یاد رکھیں! کچھ عرصے بعد یہی لوگ انہیں کرش کر دیں گے اور عوام بھی انہیں کبھی معاف نہیں کرے گی-

نیلسن منڈیلا اور گاندھی تک کو دیگر قیدیوں سے ملنے، کتابیں پڑھنے اور کتابیں لکھنے کی اجازت تھی- میں ایک ایسی قید کاٹ رہا ہوں جہاں روزانہ 22 گھنٹے مجھے 6x8 کے سیل میں بند رکھا جاتا ہے، پولیس اہلکار تک مجھ سے بات نہیں کر سکتے، 6 ماہ سے کتابیں بند ہیں، میرے بچوں سے میری بات نہیں کروائی جاتی، میرے وکلأ اور ساتھی مجھ سے نہیں مل سکتے، میرے اہل خانہ کو ایک ہفتے بعد چند منٹ کے لیے ملنے دیا جاتا ہے اور اکثر انہیں بھی روک لیا جاتا ہے، دس ماہ سے میرے ذاتی ڈاکٹر سے میرا معائنہ نہیں کروایا گیا، پچھلے ایک ہفتے سے تو میرا اخبار اور ٹی وی بھی بند ہے۔ جو کتابیں مجھے خاندان کی طرف سے بھجوائی جاتی ہیں وہ تک مجھے مہیا نہیں کی جاتیں اور سپرنٹنڈنٹ کے کمرے میں پڑی رہتی ہیں۔ میری اہلیہ کو بھی بدترین حالات ��یں قید تنہائی میں رکھا ہوا ہے-

اس سب کے پیچھے اسٹیبلشمنٹ اور اس کے بغل بچوں کا ہاتھ ہے۔ یہ سب کچھ مجھے توڑنے کے لیے کیا جاتا ہے۔ لیکن میں آخری سانس تک ظلم کے خلاف کھڑا رہوں گا-

ہم نے قبائلی علاقوں کو کئی دہائیوں بعد ان کے آئینی و قانونی حقوق دلوائے اور علاقے کی تعمیر نو اور ترقی کے لیے بھرپور وسائل مہیا کیے- موجودہ رجیم نے پہلے تو تین سال تک ان علاقوں کے جائز فنڈز روکے رکھے اور اب ان کے آئینی حقوق واپس لینے کی کوششیں کی جا رہی ہیں جو کہ انتہائی قابل مذمت ہے- ہمارے پارلیمینٹیرینز اور نمائندوں نے ان اقدامات کا بائیکاٹ کر کے اچھا فیصلہ کیا-

ہمارے پنجاب کے ایم پی ایز کو جعلی حکومت کے بجٹ کے دوران احتجاج کرنے پر معطل کرنے کے پیچھے یہی وجہ ہے کہ مریم نواز کے خلاف احتجاج ان کو بہت ناگوار گزرا ہے- حالانکہ ہمیشہ بجٹ کے دوران احتجاج ہوتا آیا ہے-“

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan's Message – July 8, 2025

“When a nation rises for its rights, no force on earth can suppress it. I remain a free man, even in jail, but my nation is trapped in a prison where there is no independent judiciary, no genuine democracy, and no free media. Every Pakistani must rise up for their true freedom!

For two years, I have remained imprisoned solely for the sake of the Pakistani nation, so that no one can enslave you. Now, the time has come for you to stand up for your own freedom and defeat this oppressive system.

I repeatedly called for dialogue in the best interest of the country. But the time for negotiations has now passed. After the 26th Constitutional Amendment, the rule of law, the Constitution, and the very concept of justice have been buried. Any hope of receiving justice from the courts has been completely extinguished. The Pakistani nation now has only one path forward: a nationwide protest movement. Nothing short of this can pull us out of this quagmire of lawlessness.

A complete roadmap for the nationwide movement will be announced this week. I will have completed two full years of unjust imprisonment on August 5th. One that very day our nationwide protest campaign will be at its peak.

There will be no further negotiations of any kind with anyone anymore! The only path forward is mass protest in the streets, so the nation can rid itself of the puppets forcibly imposed upon it as its rulers.

Let me be clear: any officeholder in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf who cannot shoulder the weight of this movement should step aside immediately. Those who have submitted to these oppressors must remember: these very people will eventually crush you, and the people will never forgive you either.

Even leaders like Nelson Mandela and Gandhi were allowed to meet other prisoners, read books, and write. I am enduring a form of solitary confinement where I am locked for 22 hours a day in a 6x8 foot cell. Police officers are forbidden from speaking to me. I have been denied books for the past six months. I am not allowed to speak to my children. My lawyers and colleagues cannot visit me. My family is allowed only a few minutes of visitation each week, and many of them are often denied even that. My personal physician has not been allowed to examine me for the past ten months. Even my access to newspapers and television has been cut off for the last week. Books sent by my family are withheld and kept in the superintendent’s office. My wife is also being held in inhumane conditions in solitary confinement.

Behind all of this is the establishment and its pawns. All of this is being done to break me. But I will continue to stand against tyranny until my very last breath.

We restored the constitutional and legal rights of the tribal areas after decades and provided full resources for reconstruction and development. The current regime not only withheld their rightful funds for three years but is now actively working to roll back their constitutional rights, an action that is utterly condemnable. I commend our parliamentarians and representatives for boycotting these unlawful measures.

As for our Punjab MPAs who were suspended for protesting during the fraudulent government’s budget session, the real reason behind it was that their protest against Maryam Nawaz was intolerable for the regime, although it is a long-standing tradition to protest during budget sessions.”

The US President threatens us. With his absurd rhetoric, he demands that the Iranian people surrender to him.
They should make threats against those who are afraid of being threatened. The Iranian nation isn’t frightened by such threats.
