NTV has aired an exposé on the recent Ol Kalou by-election, revealing the faces of men alleged to have been part of the group that harassed residents.

Ironically, the same men are said to have been part of UDA's campaign team, whose candidate lost the by-election.

While the DCI has promised to investigate the matter, perhaps this should be its first step.

Villagers in Ol Kalou are waiting to see whether DCI officers will investigate the same men who were dishing out money, sponsoring football tournaments, and overseeing the distribution of gas cylinders, among other items, as part of the government's campaign to persuade residents to vote for the UDA candidate, who went on to lose by a landslide.
