SOUTH AFRICA…

The Church in Africa, especially the Church in Nigeria, must arise and travail for the Church in South Africa.

South Africa is no longer merely a nation. It has become a gate. A prophetic demonstration gate.

A territory where the spirit of the age is testing the architecture of a New Africa before exporting it across the continent.

Do not mistake what you are seeing. Nations are not only conquered by armies. They are first captured by ideas.

The future has chosen South Africa as an experimental field. A laboratory where new definitions of family, morality, governance, economics, worship, identity and human purpose are being normalized until they become unquestionable.

The intention is to produce an Africa that no longer needs GOD, only systems. An Africa that no longer bows to CHRIST, but bows to progress.

An Africa where efficiency replaces holiness, intelligence replaces wisdom, technology replaces dependence, and abundance replaces righteousness.

This is not modernization. This is a replacement project. The old foundations are being dismantled while the masses celebrate development.

What many call advancement is, in many cases, the careful removal of every structure that once made GOD necessary.

The chaos you presently see in South Africa will settle. But it will settle into an entirely different civilization.

When the dust finally disappears, many will discover that they did not merely survive a season of instability.

They entered another age. An age where CHRIST is tolerated but no longer enthroned.

An age where the Church is permitted to exist, provided she no longer possesses prophetic authority. An age where religion is welcomed, but LORDSHIP is resisted.

This is why the Church must pray. Not because South Africa is weak. But because gates determine what enters continents.

If the gate falls, the territory behind it will eventually drink from the same river. Nigeria must not watch carelessly.

Nigeria is another template nation. Another prophetic gate. Another territory whose future is being negotiated before the eyes of a sleeping Church.

The methodology may differ. The political Style may differ. The economic strategy may differ.

But the destination is the same. To produce a civilization that can flourish without acknowledging GOD.

To create a generation that possesses everything except the fear of the LORD. To redefine freedom until rebellion becomes a virtue.

To redefine tolerance until truth becomes violence. To redefine prosperity until worship becomes unnecessary. To redefine humanity until man forgets he was made in the image of GOD.

Church, wake up. What is happening across Africa is not merely political. It is priestly. Altars are contending. Spirits are legislating.

Principalities are negotiating the destiny of nations while the Church debates irrelevancies.

There is a reason darkness fights so hard for gates. Whoever controls the gate eventually influences the continent.

If South Africa becomes the successful prototype, the model will be replicated. If Nigeria falls, the ripple will shake generations.

This is why intercession is no longer optional. We are not merely preserving countries. We are contending for the inheritance of CHRIST.

Africa does not belong to economists. Africa does not belong to politicians. Africa does not belong to global systems. Africa belongs to JESUS CHRIST.

The Church must return to her knees before she is forced to live under a civilization she failed to confront in prayer.

History is being rewritten. The spirits behind Babylon are speaking again. The towers are rising again.

The image is being erected again. Will there still be men who refuse to bow? Or will the Church become so intoxicated with the language of the future that she forgets the Ancient of Days?

The battle has never been for a land. It has always been for worship. And every nation eventually becomes the reflection of the altar that prevails within it.

The frightening thing about the human heart is this…

If it is not carefully watched… It will slowly move from serving GOD… to serving its own needs.

And perhaps this is one of the greatest tests of discipleship.

Many of us have not truly surrendered our lives to CHRIST. We have merely offered HIM a contract.

As long as HE protects… As long as HE provides…
As long as HE opens doors… As long as HE answers the prayers we keep bringing before HIM… We will continue following.

But somewhere beyond that line… Our loyalty begins to shake.

One of the greatest idolatries that can quietly grow in the heart of a believer is the worship of our own unmet expectations.

A man can speak in tongues… Preach sermons… Lead prayers… Even suffer for a season… And yet still be serving his own needs more than he is serving GOD.

Because eventually every disciple arrives at the place where CHRIST asks one question…

“Am I enough?” Enough without the promotion. Enough without the marriage. Enough without the healing. Enough without the recognition. Enough without the breakthrough.

The Church in the Scriptures answered that question with their lives. They did not live because every prison door opened. Some prison doors never opened.

They did not remain because every storm ceased. Some storms carried them into eternity. They remained because they had already concluded��
CHRIST is worthy.

Somewhere along the journey… We changed what we taught.

We began preaching a CHRIST who exists to sustain our ambitions… Rather than a KING before whom ambitions are laid down.

We have taught men to come to GOD for what is in HIS hand… More than for GOD Himself.

And a generation has quietly learned to measure the faithfulness of GOD… By the comfort of their own lives.

But the Cross destroys that kind of religion. I will not be enslaved by my needs. My obedience will not rise and fall with my circumstances.

My devotion will not be held hostage by unanswered prayers.

Whether HE gives… Or whether HE takes away…Whether HE explains Himself… Or remains silent…

My hands will remain upon the plow. I will not look back. For on the day I first saw CHRIST… I ceased to belong to my needs.

I became HIS.

A mild drama unfolded in the Senate after Senator Orji Uzor Kalu demanded that Senator Adams Oshiomhole withdraw his controversial description of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) as a “house of thieves.”

Kalu raised the issue during plenary, arguing that such a sweeping allegation against a critical national institution could damage Nigeria’s reputation and discourage investors. He insisted that Oshiomhole should retract the statement, stressing that the Senate must be careful not to criminalise an organisation that plays a central role in the country’s economy.

The controversy stemmed from an earlier Senate Public Accounts Committee hearing investigating alleged discrepancies in NNPCL’s financial records. During the session, Oshiomhole reacted to comments suggesting that some individuals were seeking employment opportunities for their children within the company, prompting him to describe the oil giant as a “house of thieves.”

The remark immediately drew objections from lawmakers and former NNPCL Chief Financial Officer Umar Ajiya, who defended the company and its employees.

As reactions mounted, the Senate distanced itself from Oshiomhole’s comment, stating that the remark reflected his personal opinion and not the official position of the upper chamber.

The Senate also voided an arrest warrant earlier issued by the Public Accounts Committee against former NNPCL Group Chief Executive Officer Mele Kyari, ruling that the committee lacked the authority to issue such a directive.

During a June 2026 press availability in the Oval Office, Donald Trump engaged in a heated exchange with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins.

A brand-new Lufthansa Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner suffered a sudden nose landing gear collapse while parked at a departure gate at Frankfurt Airport (FRA).

The incident which occurred as the aircraft was being prepared for Flight LH450 to Los Angeles brought about the immediate cancellation of the service.

The involved widebody jet, an almost factory-fresh airliner delivered new to Lufthansa in January 2026 has been in service for only four months.

Although no passengers were on board at the time of the mishap, crew members and ground staff were inside preparing the cabin with several staff members sustaining injuries and have received medical treatment.

Security and terminal footage showed the front landing gear abruptly retracting, dropping the aircraft’s nose heavily onto the tarmac. The fuselage and Door 2L sustained significant structural damage, requiring extensive inspections and repairs before it can fly again.

Lufthansa and the German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation (BFU) have launched a technical investigation to determine the exact circumstances. While official findings are pending, initial details point toward ongoing maintenance work or human error during gate turnaround

Early reports also suggest technicians were performing a routine check to clear maintenance messages, a procedure that requires cycling the landing gear handle while hydraulic pressure is active. To prevent gear retraction on the ground, ground teams must insert a heavy-duty downlock safety pin. Aviation personnel note that if the pin is forgotten, or accidentally inserted into an adjacent, identically sized lock-link apex hole, a known risk factor on some widebody designs, the gear will buckle immediately when the cockpit handle is moved.

Makinde Visits Adelabu After Sister, Twin Sons Are Kidnapped in Ibadan

JAMB to conduct UTME mop-up exam June 13

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a mop-up examination for candidates affected by technical and verification issues during the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

In a statement issued by JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, the board described the exercise as the “final phase of the annual UTME exercise,” aimed at resolving all outstanding examination challenges involving candidates who were unable to complete their exams despite presenting themselves at their designated centres.

According to the board, several Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres experienced technical failures during the examination period, while some candidates faced biometric verification problems even after arriving for their tests.

JAMB also disclosed that some results were withdrawn over examination infractions, with affected candidates included in the mop-up process.

Eligible candidates have been directed to begin printing their Examination Notification Slips from June 6 ahead of the scheduled examination date.

The board advised candidates to carefully confirm their examination centres, time, and other important instructions before the exercise.

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike says he was not surprised by Siminalayi Fubara’s withdrawal from the Rivers APC governorship primary, insisting the governor was never meant to seek a second term under an earlier peace agreement that allegedly stopped impeachment moves against him.
