Mr. Davis & fam. were moving to Albany soon. There were job opportunities & Pa just felt a change wouldn't hurt. They'd been selling the chickens, turkeys & pigs. They'd take Pa's hounds, Red & Hobo, with them. After all, they'd have a front & a back yard wouldn't they?

Louise had a funny feeling. She'd never lived outside Worth County & now the move to Albany was getting closer. Fast! The girls were excited tho. Something new, a change of routine. Who knew what new experiences they'd get in the "big city"? Louise wanted a job & to buy clothes.

Loralice was pouting bc she had to help Pa skin the rabbits. He'd got lucky & got 3 today. The stench of the entrails was horrible. The girls liked #fried #rabbit a lot, even stewed, but they sure didn't like helping to skin them! Pa said got to skin them to eat them!
