After months of enduring the most horrific conditions of war, starvation and genocide, my family (parents + siblings and their families) made the journey out of Gaza. Our reunion was overwhelmed by mixed feelings of relief, worry for loved ones left behind and immense grief for all our losses. They are left with so little, yet so much to confront, so many hidden wars to fight.
For my 2 young children, however, it was enough knowing that their family is out of harms way💚
