@Douglas36167130 @ReallyAmerican1@Giannoulias You're 100% right. It's strictly the family's place to alienate their children by controlling the information they have access to. Not the State's responsibility in the slightest.
@RachaelCamui I ask myself the same question frequently. I always come back with the answer: I miss making good music with my friends BUT I don't miss the grind, the weird hours, the travel, the shit pay, or the toxic and abusive personalities that invariably rise to the top of the pile.
Your reminder that, when Donald Trump was told that his supporters were chanting "hang Mike Pence," Trump's response was, "He deserves it." Speaks volumes. And absolutely shameful.
I'm about as left as they come, but I must say, most politicians on the left could learn a thing or two about cryptocurrency from @RepTomEmmer. Like it or not, it is the technology of the future and appropriate regulation is the key to keeping the United States relevant.

@treyradel@AlbertSanhcez@elonmusk@StationCDRKelly 3. Your question presumes that "gender" (an invisible, fluid, social construct) is equivalent to "race" (a very visible, non-fluid characteristic). It's a bad, baiting question. That said, you absolutely can try identifying as black. Interested to see how that works out for you.
@treyradel@AlbertSanhcez@elonmusk@StationCDRKelly 1. Believe it or not I fully agree with you on compelled speech. BUT, nobody's even arguing for that in this thread. 2. I disapprove of "big government" interfering in self-regulated sports with things like transgender bans, even if that triggers some snowflakes. Read on below...
Watching self-styled "free speech absolutist" "tech" guy get booed for several straight minutes was EXACTLY what I asked Santa for. The mystery lives on.
@treyradel@AlbertSanhcez@elonmusk@StationCDRKelly Why does it matter where it stops? Why do you feel entitled to tell people what they can and can't be when they cross some arbitrary line? What influence does someone else's self-perception have on your life?
@treyradel@AlbertSanhcez@elonmusk@StationCDRKelly Since it seems difficult for you to grasp, you can think of it like this: It's just like how you choose to be identified as "Trey Radel: former congressperson" but not "Trey Radel: former cocaine possessor." It is the right of every person to be the person they want to be.
