That scene is loved because its delivery and the impact it had on Azula for the most part. And because at the end of the day it was favourable to Zuko and co. But characteristically it made no sense and was half assed.

Actually the original is the one that doesn’t make sense. That scene where she says”I love Zuko more than I fear you” came out of nowhere BECAUSE she was never shown to fear Azula. Thats why that scene doesn’t hold impact logically and never made sense in the original.-

I think that Natla cast is so disrespectful. Be professionals and not laugh at a ship and in extension a fandom that is known for getting harassed. They could have respectfully said they prefer the canon and move forward. kiawentiio and Miyako give such mean girl energy.
