Witnessing some OUTRAGE at restaurant prices, but it's simple: Good restaurants pay their staff and suppliers properly, and pay tax, and then make a small margin, so the dishes cost what they cost. Either go, enjoy, and pay, or don't. No drama. No one is forcing or profiteering.

Cracking dinner at a buzzing Manteca in Shoreditch last night. We sat at the kitchen counter and enjoyed the full energy and brilliance of the place. We ate everything but I only got pics of the crudo, the pappardelle and the soon-to-be-famous brown crab cacio pepe tonnarelli. 🦀
So in France the government have limited energy price increases to 4%, including EDF. In the UK, EDF have increased prices by 54% - so far. This “taking back control”. 😳
