The last few months, I have had the privilege of interacting with many stalwarts in the fields of business, sustainability and CSR. For me it was a moment of pride to take India's success story to global platforms such as the Financial Times Energy Transition Summit, the G20 W20 Summit and the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit.

Throughout these power packed events a common theme seems to be emerging - the pivotal role women play in driving change, from grassroots to boardrooms - a theme close to my heart.

I believe we need to shift the narrative from women empowerment to women led development. The time of trying to provide equal opportunity is past, it is now time for women to lead from the forefront.

India's Presidency at G20 became a catalyst for furthering this much needed narrative of women led development. At G20, we championed the cause of bringing more women to the table, fostering greater participation. For us to become a 5 trillion economy women need to be at the forefront in this path to progress. Digitisation and easy access to information are spearheading the inclusion of women in the workforce.

A similar sentiment was also echoed at The Financial Times Energy Transition Summit, where the discussion focused on how women's voices are transforming the global landscape of sustainability and climate action.

Personally for me, the sustainability narrative extends beyond just environment. Sustainability is also about ensuring equity at every level, especially in male dominated industries like mining. At HTLS, I was delighted to speak about our stellar women in mining. They are blazing the trail and breaking all stereotypes. Today, we have a woman as head of security, women operating heavy lifting vehicles and women leading the blasting in our mines. Being part of one of the oldest male dominated industries, these women have not only broken barriers, but have opened a whole new arena of opportunities for others. They have led a monumental change that has shifted the perspective of the entire nation towards gender norms.

Let's continue championing inclusivity, diversity, and the transformative power of women in shaping a sustainable future.

तुम अंबानी परिवार को इतना बदनाम करती हो, दिन-रात तुम्हारा गिरोह गाली बकता है, और अब तुम उसी रिलायंस से कह रही हो कि लोगों को नौकरियों से नहीं निकालो।

आज अडानी का घाटा करवाने पर तुला है तुम्हारा गिरोह, कल को वहाँ से छँटनी होगी तो फिर तुमलोग ही रोवोगे कि अडानी जॉब से क्यों निकाल रहा लोगों को। कभी समर्थन किया आज तक अंबानी-अडानी का?
