Ensure you & your parents are prepared for the snowy/icy conditions to prevent slips/falls (e.g. wear shoes with grip, avoid icy patch, etc)

Did you know seniors are in greater danger of a pedestrian accident than being mugged? Make sure they are visible now that it's dark outside

Watch for signs that may indicate your parent is having mobility issues, e.g. difficulty with stairs, holding on to furniture to walk, etc.

Have your parents become a little unsteady or clumsy on their feet? This may be an indicator that they need assistance with their mobility.
