@vBizChain @jarredsumner package.json tells whether to bump to latest minor and/or patch, that does not change over time in my project, so I prefer to keep that stable until a version needs to bump to the next major. The actual version is maintained in the lock file, so why repeat that in package.json?

@ladyleet I can pretty much relate to this. It matters if you enjoy what you're doing. I can work all night and just need a few hours to catch up. But only if the work gives me the energy back. It depends on your personality as well I guess, so as a manager you need to know who to protect.
