Most conversations about workplace stress focus on fight or flight BUT what about shutdown?
Shutdown is the most common response to toxic work spaces, yet itโs the least understood.
Instead of running or resisting, the nervous system collapses, conserving energy for survival ๐งต
We hope you believe that you can make a beautiful professional life for yourself even if you lost many weeks, months, or years of it to a toxic work space.
Watch the waves with us sometime...
Did you know that the rhythmic sound of waves slows your heart rate and signals safety to your nervous system?
Gazing at water, even bundled up on a chilly shoreline can trigger a meditative state known as Blue Mind.
The biggest lie sold to most professionals is that reaching the top of the corporate ladder will make us happy.
Most professionals live this way of life then find out too late that itโs a nightmare in disguise.
If you're a professional in Mombasa, you are one afternoon away from feeling like YOUrself again.
Reset, recharge, & reconnect with yourself & fellow corporate professionals in Mombasa.

@brigidrussell51 I love this because I've learned I'm craving slowing down more & more. I find that my nervous system regulates when I'm in a slow state & rushing is just probably how we were programmed but it only messes up our nervous system.
If you get anxious or panic attacks when you think about work or when you're at work, that's how your nervous system tells you, right now, in this moment, that there are unmet needs, unacknowledged realities, disrupted boundaries, & accumulated survival energy in your system.
