She’s a Gold player in a Gold lobby playing at a Gold level. Everyone in that game is making mistakes. Spider-Man is hard. Ranked isn’t QP, but “you’re selling” in chat from your own team rarely improves anyone’s play in the moment.

Constructive feedback (“Spidey isn’t working, can you switch or focus on X?”) gets better results than even mild toxicity. Talking down to people doesn’t teach them anything. A lot of us treat teammates like NPCs and then act surprised when tension goes up and the game gets worse.

She’s autistic. People respond differently to criticism. Framing the entire reaction as “it’s because she’s a woman” is disingenuous and ignores that. Low ranks already run on low-quality communication. It’s not hard to just not pile on in-game. Venting on socials is one thing. Doing it in your own team chat while the match is still going just adds more frustration.

You can want higher standards in ranked without treating every imperfect performance in Gold like a personal offense. Suggest, mute, or play your game. Dictating how other people are allowed to play doesn’t make you better at the game.
