Just a bit of context on AlfaClub v2

We first built Alfa v1 over a span of ~8 months. It was built with performance and scalability in mind, and at one point we had 6-7 devs working on it simultaneously

Alfa v1 was technically impressive. It let users trade Spot, Hyperliquid and Polymarket, while also having shared trading pools for each room.

It was a serious learning experience. I personally learned a ton about the intricacies and nuances of each trading surface, building a cutting-edge social app, and exactly what worked/what didn't from a UX perspective.

Alfa v2 is basically a distillation of everything we learned. We rebuilt the entire stack from the ground up, optimising + simplifying things wherever we could.

On the chat side, we made sure it's similarly feature-rich to a modern web2 social app, while also including deep crypto integration: in-chat charting, token calls, live tickers, one-click copy trading etc etc.

We've load tested for 5-10k concurrent users.

If it's going to succeed, it's got to feel as good to use as Telegram or WhatsApp. We're not there yet, but imo we're getting close.

One of the other plus points of moving to an entirely non-custodial trading structure is that we should be eligible for App Store inclusion. We've also been building the native mobile app alongside the webapp, and hopefully we can share more on this in the coming weeks...

I'm super happy with how smooth the app launch was. There were relatively few bugs considering just how massively the app changed.

There's a lot more to be added over the coming weeks, but it's great that we have such a solid base to work from now.
