@makaumutua@EliudKipchoge I took this photo in Seoul recently. I love seeing these ads featuring Eliud in Lotte HiMart electronic stores all over South Korea. Whenever I pass by his photo, I pause, smile and flex a little with my chin held high; I want other shoppers & staff to notice my affiliation!๐
@ntvkenya There are several boxing clubs around Nairobi already. I'd rather the funds were used to establish continued learning centers, where adults and youth interested in self improvement can learn computers, entrepreneurship, Eng & Swa language improvement, etc.
@alicenweinberg@paulinenjoroge Alice this is not kusaidika. If this (handout culture) continues, we are doomed forever. Govt should make policies that enable citizens to earn their own money.
@hamtoshikamwe@MutahiNgunyi So, @MutahiNgunyi is a "mjaluo" just because he was in Azimio, right? Whether this is said in jest or in disdain, it still smacks of the systemic ethnic hate we're dealing with, and evidently, it's not about to end.
@EFFSouthAfrica@Julius_S_Malema (4) Kenya has laws. Whoever thinks his/her election victory was stolen has the right to seek legal redress. Raila will retire when he wants, or when no longer can't go on. As long as he feels inspired to go on, it's none of your business.
@EFFSouthAfrica This amounts to interference, Mr. @Julius_S_Malema of @EFFSouthAfrica. Either you've been bribed by Ruto to do this, or you obviously don't understand what goes on in Kenyan politics. Do research. You mislead your supporters into thinking Raila is "clinging onto power."
@EFFSouthAfrica@Julius_S_Malema (3) Raila is still strong, sharp and healthy despite his age. No law bars him from running, and his candidature does not block any other qualified Kenyan from running for the presidency themselves.
@EFFSouthAfrica@Julius_S_Malema (2) Malema doesn't understand that Raila runs for president by popular demand, not because of Raila's hunger for power, but because of his supporters' hunger and desire to see him FULLY implement the justice and reforms he has advocated for decades.
@EFFSouthAfrica@Julius_S_Malema (1) Raila has never been president, nor in power. Even his past five-year Prime Minister stint was more or less nominal, without any powers.
@hellenjeriKe "We reiterate, as we conclude that there is no doubt from the architecture of the laws we have considered that the people of Kenya did not intend to vest or concentrate such sweeping and boundless powers in one individual, the chairperson of the appellant."
@HonOngondo Good point Jaduong' en mana ni bed uru mos mondi, wek uru walo. Gigi ber kiwacho saa ma ng'wej no chiegini. Ok sani kod rikni ka nyathi mamor nikech oyudo tamtam. Mana kaka Ouru nyocha otimo. Ka gindhogo wa even before that time, to ibiro wacho nang'o?
@ahmednasirlaw You concocting falsehoods to score political points for Ruto is not the most important thing. The most significant fact is that Raila fought against dictatorship in favour of democracy so that you could have this freedom to express yourself.
