He told her that he pays a pitching coach a lot of money and if she shakes off a pitch call it better work. It didn’t. He held her accountable. That’s a good coach.
@joshbmessenger@jkcottrell51@JasonPugh00777 It’s already happening. We are already there. But the US as a whole doesn’t care because they will monetize anything and everything until there’s nothing left and they run everything into the ground.
@joshbmessenger@jkcottrell51@JasonPugh00777 Oh I forgot that all business only have pure profit and never take losses.
Yes, the NIL is a business. College athletics is a business.
@jkcottrell51@JasonPugh00777 They made it a business and now people are shocked it’s playing out *checks notes* exactly how anyone with a brain said it would.
@softballfangirl There was no *hatred* this is so dramatic. Mutual respect is holding each other accountable. Which the coach was doing. And I’m not a parent so the pearl clutching can stop there.
@softballfangirl And that’s why your kids should just stick to underwater basket weaving. When they have careers will you also write their two week notice when their boss holds them accountable?
@Christian_Ryan3 She does have the freedom to shake it off. The coach literally said they give that to her. But part of that is also being accountable when it doesn’t go well.
@RobertStock6 Yeah I don’t think this is it. If a coach is calling pitches and the pitcher throws what was called and gets rocked, that’s on the coach. If the coach calls a pitch and the pitcher shakes it off and throws something different and gets rocked then that’s on the pitcher.
@JDickerson92890@LouisXXIV Brother, he pulled her multiple times in previous games because she was getting rocked. KT was COOKING in the semi-finals and NiJa was not on her A game. Had they left her in, I don’t know that they’d be in the finals. He lit that spark & made her lock in.
