We’re thrilled to congratulate our partner, the @WashWildThings, on officially clinching their spot in the Frontier League Postseason!
The energy, resilience, and teamwork the Wild Things have shown all season long perfectly reflect the spirit of our community. Having the opportunity to host postseason baseball right here at EQT Park is something we’re especially proud of.
EQT is committed to fueling growth and excitement in our region—and moments like these remind us why partnerships matter. Let’s pack the park and cheer the Wild Things on as they chase a championship!

EQT is excited to announce the @WashWildThings will now play at EQT Park. "By establishing EQT Park, we are reaffirming our commitment to the local communities we have been part of for over a century. We look forward to welcoming our friends, family and neighbors to the park," CEO @Shalennial said as he reiterated EQT's commitment to the community.
Wednesday night was a rough night in a great season for the @WashWildThings. There’s still games to play and a championship to compete for, but the final home game brought plenty of emotion.
“What are you crying for? We’re going to win a championship.”

In any of the independent leagues, winning is everything. The Wild Things have been to the Frontier League championship 4x, losing all 4.
This time could be different. On Tuesday, they got one step closer to ending the streak.

Struck out arguably the best player in baseball twice in a huge rivalry while dominating arguably the best lineup in baseball in first career GS at 30.
Buzz off. Let the kid play.
3 years ago, James Meeker was working on a 55-game scoreless streak in the independent Frontier League (fun fact courtesy @javblake8). Now he’s in a big league clubhouse.
James Meeker (2018-21) is GOING TO THE SHOW!
The Pittsburgh native and former Wild Thing has had his contract selected by the @Brewers, becoming the 5th former Wild Thing to make it to the bigs!
