@dekker No one outside of Madison or Milwaukee has ever called Wisconsin "Wisco" or "Sconnie". No one. To say this was to honor the state shows exactly what the Brewers think of the rest of the state
@JonRothstein 2 years ago AJ Store, last year John Tonje, this year Nick Boyd... pretty soon, someone might figure out that this Greg Gard (Silent Assassin) has this portal thing figured out.
@PGPackersNews If the Pack want 8-9/9-8 + one n done in the playoffs; continue inexplicable (really not, but...) late season collapses; continue inexplicable (again, not really...) late game collapses; and lose multiple games to teams they have no business losing to, then, yea, keep LaFleur
@dekker The data is pretty clear, whether you receive or kick to start the game there is no really significant difference to who wins. BUT, the data is also clear that if you are behind at the half and do NOT receive the 2nd half kick, you lose about 85% of the time. Defer every time.
@AdamSchefter He's missed basically 1/3 of all regular season games. Has never had a season out of his 4 that he HASN'T missed games, and when he DOES play, he averages 3 touches per game for 46.5 yards and 0.4 TDs per game . He DESERVES this? He's taking money for nothing. Big waste of money
@HellerSports How about before sculpting the plaque for the HoF, before calling him the greatest athlete in any sport ever, before anointing him the combined 2nd coming of Babe Ruth, Walter Johnson, and Mark Fydrich , let him get more CAREER IP than in the longest GAME in MLB history?
@HellerSports Yes, because more turnovers and even more terrible shot selection is exactly what high school basketball needs....and that's exactly what a shot clock would bring. All to stop the 6 games a year statewide where some team pulls the air out of the ball.
@jaypo1961 Meals on Wheels is a joke. My parents, for the last 2 years before they passed, had MoW. Know what they got? Once a week a MoW rep stopped by and dropped off 3 Dinty Moore microwave beef stew packets. That's it. That is what MoW did for them.
@dekker Or the game is played completely differently from that point without the call, so saying that the call cost the Packers the game is just silly.
@TomSilverstein@journalsentinel A fluke? Kraft is 12 yards away, no one with 5 yards of him, and no pressure on Love, and he throws it 10 feet over his head....and that's a fluke and a sign of progress? Really?
@JJWatt@NFLonCBS Why do tv networks insist on ruining football on TV by zooming out so far you can only tell uniform colors, but not actual players and covering literally 75% of the screen with green grass and graphics?
@mschwartzcenter@HellerSports @TheGameMKE @TheGameMadison Couldn't disagree more. Network doesn't show the game. Graphics everywhere, zoomed out to Pluto (can see colored shirts running around, but good luck telling which players they are or where the ball is) and announcers that either know nothing or are pressured into saying baloney
@BradenMleziva @dekker I've seen several games in domes, and several in AmFam/Miller Park, and dozens of games in Outdoor stadiums. You NEVER forget you are inside a building in AmFam, even with the roof open. Never. It is a great experience, but not remotely close to actually watching a game outdoors.
@dannykanell@JayBilas Anyone who saw the Wisconsin/Michigan field storming in '92 knows just how bad this can get. Makes what happened at WF kiddie play. It could cost a team a Natty, and it cost someone their life in Madison (bright back with CPR. Students won't wait 5 seconds much less a minute
