@MelbRacingClub poor staff today having to reactively cater for a moderate crowd. 40 minutes prior to the first race not a table or chair in the members or the owners room.
@GaiWaterhouse1 As far as I’m aware, there’s no evidence that it is any more dangerous for horse nor rider when we race on heavy racetracks, as you say, Gai, they run slower times. Trainers know who are their mud larks snd which are not and will scratch accordingly. Also unfair to wet trackers!
@withMEAA What gives anyone the right to harass people going about their business, I’m guessing the harassment went for even longer than the film release shows.
@PRGuy17@liammendes was hardly injured I find it fascinating that he chose to challenge and stand in the way of Costello and press him to answer questions he doesn’t need to answer. Then goes onto accuse the network of conducting its interviews this way which is true only for scammers.
@AFL for an experienced umpire to pay a free kick where it was quicker to let Daicos pass it back with Sullivan with his back to the umpire is just wrong. No common sense? Clearly not deliberate. #piesfreo
@ptv_official so buses replace trains on Sunbury line, again, and again, and again. Then express buses go past you at West Footscray with 3 people in a big bus. Seriously.
@Qantas would like to understand what happened to QF487 the regular 7pm service from Syd to Melb today? It isn’t even on the cancelled flights lists at the airport? Thanks!
@aus_turf_club Once it’s gone it’s gone this is not a good idea. Surely a mixed use model where the racetrack remains but training moves to a purpose built facility at an existing provincial track is a better outcome, delivers cash to upgrade the other tracks but retain the track.
@Racing Flemington is not a viable option as it’s already stretched to run the 4 day carnival, which it shouldn’t risk by adding the two day carnival. Caulfield will have its lights in action, new track and hopefully new stand completed so could move straight into this post theirs.
