Invictus Germany is the officially recognised organisation in Germany dedicated to supporting the recovery and rehabilitation of veterans and service personnel through the power of sport. As an authorized partner of the Invictus Games Foundation, Invictus Germany carries forward the spirit of the Invictus Games, providing a platform for individuals to reclaim their purpose and identity beyond injury.
Building on the legacy of the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023, Invictus Germany organizes events such as the Invictus Germany Sports Festival, which brings together participants from multiple nations to compete in adaptive sports. These initiatives foster community, resilience, and inclusion, offering a pathway for veterans to reintegrate into society and inspire others through their journey.

This #RemembranceWeek, we're also commemorating two significant anniversaries: the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War & the 100th anniversary of the Toronto Cenotaph at Old City Hall.
To mark these occasions, a special commemorative lighting projection will illuminate the west side of Old City Hall each night starting tonight through Tues, Nov11. From 6 to 11 p.m., the projection features images from the City of Toronto Archives & the names of local heroes immortalized in the Golden Book of Remembrance — each representing a life given in the service of peace.
