[Jim Rome @jimrome]

Is Justin Herbert still considered elite after starting the season 0-4?? @AlbertBreer

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@tylerjschoon Joe Hortiz needs to be at the podium and asked about his addressing the interior o line

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@BGWhitefield I wish I would have listened better when you spoke about McDaniel being a horrible playcaller without Tyreek Hill

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@WhatsWrightShow @getnickwright @TheVolumeSports Nicks wet dream would be to get Herbert out of the AFC west. If he’s so bad as you make him out to be why would a team give up 3 top first round picks for him 🤦‍♂️

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@tylerjschoon Hortiz GRIPPING that extra 30mil like it’s his

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@MySportsUpdate And the Chargers are still rolling out Cole Strange and Trevor Penning as their starting guards lol Hortiz is gripping that 30mil in cap space like it’s his bar mitzvah money

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@Tha_Frederation Ben Johnson wanted the chargers job

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@MySportsUpdate 100%. Roster has been trash. Hortiz has been horrible at building this team. He can leave too as far as I’m concerned. But Jim and the coaching staff have been getting the most out of it for the last 2 years. Year 3 it should be a clean operation and it’s the worst in decades

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@MySportsUpdate I like Jim and loved the hire at the time but he has to bow out at this point. His teams shouldn’t be this sloppy by year 3. I think whatever he’s preaching isn’t getting through to the players anymore and it will only get worse. I haven’t seen a chargers team this bad since 2000

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@dillonp3695 @Flat6Banger I’m not absolving Herbert of any bad play as of late but the “surrounded with weapons and elite playcallers” narrative has to end. His weapons (aside from Ladd) wouldn’t see the field on other teams. Former coaches can’t secure HC or playcaller positions elsewhere

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@dillonp3695 @Flat6Banger Im sorry but notice how every head coach he’s had before Harbaugh has ever gotten another HC opportunity. Aside from Steichen and Moore (who were only let go because of regime change and not due to poor performance) how many offensive coaches have gotten playcalling opportunities

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@ProFootballTalk “WHOS GOT IT BETTER THAN US!!”

Everyone including the Browns and Jets

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@ChadFisher I hope they fire that fucking no hands asshole into the fucking sun. This is the 4th year of this shit

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@ChadFisher In a big moment too. Shocked

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@MIScards @alexinsdorf99 They’d take another offensive tackle

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@StevenIHaglund Week 18 2021 I remember Crosby had a free run at Herb every single drop back. Slater Feiler and Linsley were absolute beasts though. The best left side since McNeil Dielman and Hardwick

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@Volture1O1 Limp back and forth

[Tony Scharf @TPlush41]

@BigPermN757 @B2AGaming @TheHerd @colincowherd @AlbertBreer As much as I love Harbaugh I agree. They would have been better off hiring Ben Johnson when they had the chance. And that was evident his first weeks on the job when he decided to hire Greg Roman to pair with Herbert.
