If you don't think morale is important, remember that a teachers working environment is the students learning environment. Support, encouragement, and appreciation create a dynamic classroom for learning.
PD shouldn't be at the end of a long day the first day back from break. PD shouldn't be at the start of a planning day when there are 20 other things to do. PD shouldn't put more demands on the teachers when half the staff is ready to quit to begin with.

Aryn Michaelis, Lakin 7th grader, had a banner day on Thursday, April 28 by setting 3 new school records. This puts her name on the record board for 4 events this year. We can’t wait to see what she will accomplish next week.
