@gautham_vijay_ Well there is EAS Updates (supports code signing which can be crucial) or you can roll your own (which we did for one product a few years back). Plus Expo EAS just lowered pricing.

@gautham_vijay_ Yea, it’s a trade off.

We use the force upgrade as a secondary lever b/c we see most users upgrade within 2-4 days automatically, the force upgrade is disruptive, some users may not download apps over cellular and for each minor release version we do frequent patch releases.
