Almighty God is calling everyone to recognize who They truly are, so that humanity does not repeat the tragic mistake made 2,000 years ago when Jesus suffered rejection and crucifixion.

God’s providential plan is for all of us to love one another, live under His boundless love, and build lasting world peace.

At “God’s Hope Is America” in Washington, D.C., hundreds of clergy, faith leaders, and guests came together across traditions in prayer for the Mother of Peace, Dr. Hak Ja Han, and in a shared call for faith, peace, and religious freedom.

The gathering also marked the 50th anniversary of Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s historic 1976 speech at the Washington Monument.

One of the most powerful moments came through music. Gospel legend T.L. Barrett joined the Mother of Peace’s granddaughter, Shinyuh Moon, for a deeply moving tribute that brought many in the room to tears. The performance carried a spirit of love, prayer, and devotion that touched the hearts of those gathered.

That same spirit continued as gospel artist Wess Morgan, joined by a youth choir, performed “This Little Light of Mine,” filling the room with hope and a renewed sense of shared purpose.

Across generations, denominations, and backgrounds, the gathering became a reminder of what is possible when people come together in prayer, stand with one another, and carry the light of faith and peace forward. 🕊️✨

He was imprisoned for three years in communist Czechoslovakia and, after that, continued to stand for freedom. He praises Dr. Han for her strength and courage as she stands for peace while in prison. He compares her to Dr. Martin Luther King, Desmond Tutu, and Mother Teresa. As this article reads, "Throughout history, the prize has continually elevated leaders who utilized non-violent transformation in seemingly impossible environments." This article is one of the best I've read about the Mother of Peace.

Ambassador Evans has widened the Hak Ja Han case beyond one defendant.

This is not only what she did, he said. It is who she is—and then, he added, it is any faith that will not bend to a president consolidating power.

He placed Pastor Son’s arrest earlier on the same line and called Dr. Han the next name, not the last.

Japan’s path toward dissolving an entire church, in his warning, is the template now being watched in Seoul.

A court has already ruled on funds and influence. That judgment is not erased by a sermon.

Evans is arguing method and sequence: leaders first, corporate shells next, congregations after.

South Korean law can punish money crimes. It cannot, as a constitutional matter, erase a church the way a company is struck from a register.

The public should separate the exhibits from the theory. If dissolution talk is real, every parish—not only one movement—has a stake in how far a “legal person” can be killed.

If the bride of the church cannot be dissolved, why is the state still writing the paperwork as if a congregation were only a company?

Ambassador Evans has applied an old warning to the case of Dr. Hak Ja Han, the Family Federation leader known to followers as True Mother.

Give me the target, he said, and enough prosecutors will produce a statute. Give me the church, and the file will fill.

He described her as a faith leader of peace and unification. If those qualities are what the state is punishing, he added, she would have little to deny.

A Seoul court has already convicted her on political-fund, anti-graft, and embezzlement counts; the state appealed a two-year term as too light.

That docket is not “loving the world.” Evans’s point is about method: whether investigators started from money trails or from a decision that a church was the problem.

Religious communities can break finance law. Governments can also invert the order—name the congregation, then hunt.

Citizens should hold both possibilities in view and demand the exhibits, not the slogan.

If peace work can be treated as a motive and a gift can be treated as a bribe, what standard should keep a faith from becoming the crime?
