22 miles across the virtual Channel not quite enough of a challenge, so tonight the 10 year old fish reached her new target of 100 kilometres in 10 weeks for Macmillan Swim It - very proud of her!!
A privilege to be representing @kent_police @KentPoliceDandI as chair of the #WomenInPolicing conference today @dodsdiversity. A fantastic agenda, packed with inspirational women. Very much looking forward to the day!!

Very proud of the little one, putting her hours in the pool to good use!!!!
@TVPAmyClem@WeCops Totally agree. Why are periods still taboo in the workplace? Many male colleagues have female partners, sisters, daughters and will have open conversations about menstrual health at home... how can we encourage more openness and confidence in the workplace?
@JazzCarlin Or the speed at which they release themselves from the automatic dispensers in shops??? My 9 year old has taken to commenting “ ooh that one’s a bit lively” if they’re over generous for small hands!! 🤣
So apparently @Hermesparcels idea of a safe place for delivery is the bottom of an open drive next to the road 🤷♀️
And no means of making a complaint, passing responsibility back to the supplier! Disgraceful...... wonder if the driver even bothered to get out of their van!
Our call-handlers are often the #UnsungHeroes of our police force so this week we are celebrating them as part of International Control Room Week. Please show your support by retweeting this message, as every share means an extra £1 donated to mental health charities.
