The surface is first sandblasted using the traditional wet process with garnet sand and water. Each bevel is then polished entirely by hand until it reaches a flawless mirror finish.

This mock-up allowed us to confirm the overall proportions and how the watch sat on the wrist.
The crystal was the only genuine component used in the mock-up.

This 3D-printed mock-up dates back to early 2024. At the time, even the dial and hands existed only as printed representations. Two years later, Model R is finally in our hands.
