Mistakenly left my item at an International Airport in the UAE.

Sent the airport a message at 1:45am UAE time the next day. They responded at 2:05 UAE time.

24 hours later, I received message that item was found and deposited at lost and found office. They gave an option of me picking it if I’m in still in the UAE or they deliver to my City free of charge. Chose the latter option.

NB: Lost item on the 31st August.
I emailed them on 1st Sept. It was found on 1st Sept.
Dispatched to Accra on 2nd Sept.
Arrived on 3rd Sept. UAE closed their case. 48 hours.

Today is 7th Sept.

I had to physically beg someone I know at Accra Airport office to go and confirm if item had arrived.

It had arrived. Why have I not been emailed?
