I introduced the new offence of endangering life at sea in our Border Security Act - one of this Government's first pieces of legislation.
The Tories and Reform both voted against it.
While they shout from the sidelines, Labour is taking action to restore security to the border, and tackle this vile trade in human lives.
One of the problems Reform continue to face is those wishing to become its politicians are often reprobates and knuckle draggers. Not all of them, but a high proportion.
The public are starting to notice.
@TRobinsonNewEra Unconscionable.
I am happy to fund a wrongful death lawsuit against these disgusting excuses for law enforcement. They damn well better have been fired.
After the second fossil fuel crisis in five years, it's clear that clean power is the only route to energy security.
The Energy Independence Bill is the next step in our mission: tackling the affordability crisis, creating thousands of jobs and delivering energy security.
These are tough results for Labour. There’s no sugarcoating it. We’ve lost brilliant Labour representatives who’ve stood up for their communities.
People are still frustrated. Their lives aren’t changing fast enough. We haven’t offered enough hope or optimism for the future.
I was elected to change this country - tough days like this don’t weaken my determination to do that. They strengthen it.
Our regime imports terrorists, gives them passports, calls them ‘British’, then says ‘oh he turned out to be a violent terrorist but he’s British so this has nothing to do with immigration, diversity is our strength, you’re racist if you disagree’.
Most voters think this is mental but it’s been *cross party consensus* for 25 years like prioritising rights of foreign murderers over Britain’s safety in law.
It will continue for years.
If you get killed the MPs will babble ‘thoughts and prayers’ but leave the laws in place
1/ Today as we approve Springwell Solar farm, set to be the UK’s largest approved power‑producing solar farm, @NESO have confirmed a new solar record, with over 14.4GW of clean power generated at the peak.

The right to a jury trial in the most fundamental criminal cases is a guarantee of equal justice for every one of us. If a government cuts that right instead of funding the system, it isn’t reform it’s endangering the freedom of us all.
Horrified by the reports coming out of Huntingdon tonight. My thoughts are with those hurt and everyone who witnessed it.
Thank you to the emergency services on the scene.
The unfairness of this beggars belief. The subsidy to the 6m will not come from general taxation, which is broadly progressive, but from the energy bills of other households, many of whom are not that much better off than those getting the subsidy. Interesting he doesn’t tell us that. Despicable.
