@ConnCFC it’s the infrastructure surrounding footy that kills it here. kids get priced out and don’t grow up with renewed interest, not to mention domestically the mls doesn’t have the same appeal as european league. there’s so much interest but not a good pipeline for kids to grow into.

@LALACMSEA @JackMac you don’t understand the scale, 80% of P4, d1 schools have a stadium the same size if not bigger than wembly on campus. this stadium is in the middle of nowhere alabama yet it’s packed with 80k fans. it’s crazy as an american god knows what it feels like to be a german here.
